No, no we don't, considering it's not been announced he isn't going in.

Just cause he sucked in Melee does not mean they can't buff him and put him in Brawl.

IMO the characters who most likly will not return are the clones
Pichu
Roy
Falco
Young Link
Dr. Mario

I think Ganondorf will return, but with an original move set based upon his LoZ:TP self, not his OoT self.

Same with Mewtwo. One of the best additions IMO you could have on Super Smash Bros, and they crapped him up. So hopefully he makes a comeback in Brawl.

Mewtwo's biggest problem was how light he was, you could smash him with ease at 30-50% damage >.<

He's also "story wise" possibly the most powerful character in the game.

I'm more interested in Sakurai's comment that most of the characters play a bit differently than they did in Melee.

With the exception of Pichu, all the characters in SSBB are decent, Mewtwo and G&W are bad because of how easy it is to smash them away, but really most of the low tier character are fun to play with or good in 4 player games.

Other then the tourney "experts" who honestly plays SSB 1 on 1?

Well, I'm glad to that I'm not the only one who noticed that comment. I wonder how much change will they make to each character? Also, characters that get appereance might play differently because of it?

So Much to Ponder... :yuusaku:

Also, I love how Boswer looks now. Those spikes on his back are awesome! :javado:

You're calling him bad just because he's easy to smash? By that logic, almost everyone else is likewise bad. You obviously haven't played G+4 enough to learn how he is in fact an excellent character.

For one thing, he's great for annoying people(obviously). His Oil Panic move is devastating when used against the right characters. And he also is one of the best jugglers in the game; his aerial moves chain into each other very easily.

I'm going by tiers, and by tiers, G&W is one of the worst characters <.<

Also we have 14-15ish characters already.

Mario
Link
Kirby
Pikachu
Meta Knight
Pit
Wario
Snake
Fox
Samus
Zero Suit Samus*
Yoshi (we have his stage AND his theme song, he's in the game)
Captain Falcon (if Samurai Goroh is in from his series, he's has to be in)
Zelda
Bowser

I have ZSS as a * because we don't know if Samus will change into her like was first said, or if she will be her own character, kinda like Shiek in SSBM, not her own character but has her own move set.

Yes, for having fun with friends ever character is great to play with (except for Pichu, who is a glorified Sangbag :karma: )

Smash Bros. isn't a true fighting game.

Well, it's still a fighting game, but not like Street Fighter/Soul Caliber/Tekken/etc.

Yeah, if you make it one on one with no items, then tiers mean something, but you add in pokeballs, 4 characters, weapons, healing items, and other stuff, tiers go out the window.

^ Not nessicarily true. I can proudly say I've beat my friend as Game and Watch while he was playing as Link in a one-on-one fight. You'd be amazed by some strategies people come up with while playing as "low-tier charactors". Hell, I've seen someone make it to the semi-finals as Luigi in a tournement once. Th point is that, in my opinion, tiering systems are never 100% accurate because it all depends on who uses the character.

Although I have to agree with everyone about Pichu... he sucks.

You can't assume that just because a character has a trophy from a series or a character has a stage and their own theme song that they are going to be in the game.

This actually wasn't a surprise to me. I was expecting that since they revealed Bowser's return. But I love the dark detailing they added to him.

I wonder if he gets a new moveset as Giga-Bowser or just beefed up Bowser moves. Come On Fresh Arsenal of Moves! *cross fingers*

If you used debug in Melee to play as Giga Bowser, he just had stronger Bowser moves. I expect the same here.

But either, I 'm happy that it's much eaiser to play as Giga Bowser this time.

Right. The odds that Giga-Bowser's moveset will be any different from that of regular Bowser are minimal. Since the player will barely get enough to use him before the FS wears off, it wouldn't be worth it.

Anyway, today's update is a detailed look at Smash Attacks snd their executions among various control schemes. Not too exciting, but still fairly important.

The moves might have different properties, however, and learning them is a part of the game.

If there's a training mode, there's a good chance you'll be able to set Infinite FS and make a ton of Smash Balls appear. There would be a way to learn Giga Bowser's different move properties then.
