He speaks loudly, he doesn't think things through, he lost his badge and gun several times, and he isn't the brightest bulb to begin with. It's pretty easy imagining him falling in love with the grandaughter of a mob boss. Now, for Viola. By the end of 3-3, she realized Tigre never cared for at all and he was just using her. She could really use a devoted, caring guy like Meekins. Crack? Yes. Almost perfect (IMO)? Very yes.

So it's possible that maybe Kristoph was taking law courses in the US, where he would have met Dahlia; their personalities would have been so similar that they hooked up, scamming any poor sucker that got in their way. Including Feenie and Swallow.

I don't necessarily see it sexually (I think I have kind of a warped view on sexuality anyway), but I differentiate it somehow from the various "deep bond of trust/friendship/partnership" relationships that I also love, like Maya&Phoenix and Gumshoe&Edgeworth.
