"Do you want to get in on this, too?" Sandra asked Anthony, taunting him. "I could take you both on, two on one." Fighting was what she was good at. If only she could still see! Then she'd be able to fire her gun and this game would be over. Of course, she wouldn't shoot him anywhere fatal. Just enough that he wouldn't be able to move for a while. His speaking shot her attention back to him. "Very well." She smirked and jumped into the nearest tree, running across and jumping into the next one. Her dexterity and speed was remarkable as she jumped from tree to tree, slashing a bit here and there. When she was done, she landed on the tree nearest Adam and cut. An intricate make-shift trap. All the branches snapped and fell toward Adam. If he moved to avoid one, he'd most likely wind up right under another, such as the trees were spaced. She jumped down and pointed her sword in Adam's general direction, wondering if the tactic had distracted him and left him open, as she hoped it would. However, she didn't swing at him, lest someone call the police and get her in trouble.

Anthony just sighed and then scratched the back of his head as he then got in between of them and knock both of them far from each other with a swift shove. "What a drag.... having to get in between of you two." He said as he sighed.

Adam jumped up and started swinging his sword at an incredible speed, all but pulvirising all incoming hazards.
He landed on his feet, fllowed by a bunch of wood dust and small chunks of wood.

"Nice strategy. I can see why you're so confident. Your blade work is very impresive."

He then turned and faced her.

"Now, let's start with a direct attack at the same time. What do you say?"

Sandra glared at Anthony. His shove merely made her stumble back a little. Her blade was still trained on Adam, though, lest he decide to retaliate.
"He's the one that started it by saying he could defeat anyone at sword play. I'm simply proving him wrong. It's no business of yours. Now, get out of my way. I promise I won't so much as cut him," she spat. She really was not intending to actually slice him at all. Just point out whenever she could have done it and caused serious injury. "Now, are you going to stand here like an ass, or...?" She jumped clear over Anthony. "You're on!" She looked Adam as close to in the eye as she possibly could and started to circle him, completely ignoring Anthony now. If he tried to intervene again, she wouldn't be so friendly. "On the count of three?"

Anthony was an idiot, Sandra decided. She could hear what he was going to do, and even though he was fast, so was she. She whipped around and blocked his hand with her own, glaring daggers at him. "Do not underestimate my speed. Now my back is open for his attack. Had this been a real fight to the death, your action would have killed me," she said. "Now, stop meddling in other people's affairs." She realized her sleeve went down slightly when she blocked Anthony's hand, and hoped he wouldn't see the chemical burns along it. "Get away or I will have no choice but to force you away."

Adam quckly jumped pretty high to avoid Anthony's attack.

After he heard what Sandra said, he spoke.

"Do not worry. I would never attack a foe if their back is turned. And as for you," he glared at Anthony. " Stop it. You're tarting to anoy me, so just stop, ok? If you want to help so musch, then just go and sit over there, alright?"

Sandra grit her teeth and lowered her hand that she had used to block him. The ground shaking under her was absolutely terrifying, but she wouldn't show that. Instead, she walked up to Felix.
"Top of my staff, please," she said monotonously. She then turned to Adam. "We'll do it sometime when the asshole isn't around. My point was never that I am better than you, regardless of if I am, anyway. My point was not to brag about it. After all, being able to win a duel of blades won't help you when you're killed in your sleep, or trapped in a burning building with your only escape blocked." She glared at Anthony. "There. We stopped. Are you done being annoying now?" She was glad he didn't mention seeing her chemical burns, if he saw them.

There was obvious pain in her eyes when Anthony asked his questions.
"What the hell happened to you? Were you in a chemical mess or something?" She grit her teeth and her eyes returned to their usual harshness, even though there was a small hint of torture in them still.
"None of your business," she answered. "And what do you expect me to call you if you were acting like an asshole and being annoying? I'm just calling 'em as I hear 'em." She was getting impatient. So much for going to the park to relax before chasing after her latest lead. She looked at Adam and smirked. "Please. The "duel" barely even started before it stopped. We could only tell a fraction of each other's skill from it."

Chris Player walked in to the Starr Complex, with a DS in his face, as he carried his bags in his arms. There's no way I'd be leaving this guy behind.

Felix offered the top of the cane with an astonished look. "That was awesome! It's like... the Legend of the Blind Swordsman! Er... Woman." he looked at Adam walking away, then back at Sandra, then Anthony. He decided not to get involved with the argument, as it seemed to bother Sandra. "You guys have to duel again. "Adam Blade, huh?" Sandra muttered to herself. "I guess, since I now know his name, I'll have to call someone else 'Dumbo'." She looked in Anthony's direction, as if to hint that he would be her replacement Dumbo, but she didn't say as much. "And I am Sandra Castro," she added, more loudly so Adam could hear as she took the top of her cane from Felix and used it to sheath her sword. "Thank you, but really, the trick I did was just to see if he'd leave himself open. It's hard not to when slashing through the branches or dodging them. From what I heard of his blade slashing the branches, he probably did leave himself open a couple times, but he moved too quickly for it to be acted upon. I'm not so sure I would have won." She looked at Felix. "Maybe someday, when all these bleeding hearts stop interfering." She chuckled darkly, then looked to Chris. "We're talking about something far more interesting than your video game. Of course, we'd have more to talk about if..." She looked at Anthony, then back to Chris. "If we had more time." She then looked in the general direction of the two girls. "Fighting can lead to horrible things happening? Duh! I see what it can lead to every single day." Of course, Cynthia and Angela had already left, but she could tell Angela was really upset, as if Cynthia had divulged secrets to Korea or some such thing. Really, Sandra didn't see the big deal. Cynthia was only stating the obvious. She shook her head. This place was crazy. She then focused on Anthony again.

"I never forget a name or a voice," she said. "And don't underestimate my speed. You might be faster in a foot race, but in hand-to-hand combat, you're nowhere near as fast as you think you are." She smirked. "It's obvious what you're going to do before you even attempt it."

Sandra seemed to pale as she glared in Anthony's general direction, fists clenched, teeth grit, she wanted nothing more than to use her cane on him, but she didn't. After all, he could file a lawsuit or something if she did.

"Heard of someone badly injured in a chemical accident?" she spat. "And not of the entire police unit that died in the same one?!" She seemed to be really worked up now, shaking so as to not hit something, but then, she took a deep breath and slowly relaxed. "Why does everyone stick their noses where they don't belong?" Her tone was absolutely miserable.

Sandra Castro was so enraged at Anthony that she was considering where to hide his mangled corpse. She was ready to use her staff and give him a good smack with it. Relax. Ha. He wouldn't be able to relax, either, if his mistake lead to the deaths of his only friends. She didn't kill him, nor smack him, though. Instead, she just took a bunch of random twigs on the ground and broke them over her knee, imagining each one was Anthony's neck.

"He's. An. ASS! And a moron! And, and..." She had a million worse insults in her head that would need to be censored, but she didn't say any of them. Instead, she turned her attention on Felix. "That was nice of you. I hope it at least helped their families cover the costs of their funerals." Her voice was completely monotone, and tears were coming to her eyes. "Oh, hell, it should have been me..." She was remembering how it happened. Her eyesight, her love, her life, all taken by one incident, which she has been working to solve day in and day out since she became a private investigator. I should have died right along with them.

Angela and Cynthia were arguing.
"I WANT MORE PEOPLE THAN YOU TO KNOW THAT I'M A GHOST!!!!" Cynthia screamed. She screamed so loud that if someone was walking by Cynthia's house or if they lived next door and had their windows open that they'd be able to hear it.
