These are fairly good for a beginner!
You could probably become one of the more famous spriters.

Nice to see a new spriter :p

Your ideas are pretty good, however the execution can be quite messy - in particular, that Vega one. However, it's not a bad start at all, they just need some work.

For the Vega one in particular, I'd clean up the outlines (these are the main issues) and I'd fix the shading on the hands and hair. Try doing that, and you'd get a much cleaner result ;)

Hope this helped.

its not a bad start for a beginner what id suggest to improve is take some time to see the official sprites and how there made or go to other spriters topics to see how they made them.

now then from what im seeing from your sprites ill just use ryu to try and point out things...
ryu:
right off the bat i knowtice his pants or belt...youve made it a completely straight line you should try and make it appear to curve this can be done with some shading on both his sides, speaking of shading you should try and bulk up your lines a bit by using some shading though the actual line itself should be visable enough to tell it apart from the shading and the actual line finally from what i see with the neck your using a black line on tan skin...its best not to doo that...take a look at the arms for example try and use the darker shade of tan instead...ill stop here but your biggest issue like most beginners is your lines both proportion and strength wise.

I hope this helps you :godot:
