Yeah, I also saw the ending coming, however I didn't mind because I really liked the episode. I think this has some memorable catchphrases (Friendly neighborhood Rainbow Dash, 'Lame' filly, others too.)
Was I the only one who found 'THERES SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE BABY!' Hilarious? Just the way she said it. I don't know. I found it funny anyway, but maybe it is just me ;p
Rarity episode next. I'm hoping for a Rarity song, about making choices. After Art of the Dress, I have been waiting patiently for another Rarity solo. But this episode seems right for one.

Good to see that I'm not the only one who didn't see any references in here. I'm alright with that. I watched it for a second/third time and I noticed that Sapphire Shores, Hoity Toity, and Prince Blueblood make returning appearances. There some fancied up background ponies like Bon Bon and Colgate, and the pony who gets her wig ripped off has a cutie mark of a lyre... hmmm

Yeah Rarity is harder to make fun of than Applejack, but I was still laughing my ass off. I think we may find out in Fluttershy's .mov

I have mixed feelings about this pairing. On the one hand, I like both Spike and Rarity as separate characters. On the other hand, I still think it's a little weird and creepy but like you said, if people could accept it from Shrek no reason they can't see it here either...
