My favourite couple and I'll explain why. Sure, it's not canon and probably impossible, but Franny is the kind of proud, ego-oriented person who obviously needs to nurture admiration/respect towards her partner to be romantically engaged. Phoenix is the guy who defeated her twice in court. Well, I may be a shipper, but I also do not ship everything for flimsy reasons.
There should be a good reason why somebody thinks these two should - or could - be a couple, other than "They smiled at each other" or anything flimsy like that. They don't have to be perfect in harmony with each other (I wouldn't buy that) but they should be capable of being around each other and not start to want to stab the other with a steak knife or become airheads because of 'love' or anything like that.

Phoenix x Iris: It's canon and true, albeit shrouded in lies. It ended though, and I can't see them getting back together...
Klavier x Ema : I think it's cute. Klavier teasing Ema, her getting flustered. but I'm fine if they stay as detective-prosecutor only.
Apollo x Vera: Also because it's cute. Loud, boisterous Apollo (although he can be quite shy) and the quiet, reclusive Vera with a dark past are good combination for potential fluffy love story.

I mean 'true' in the sense that they truly love each other, only Phoenix doesn't know that the person he loves is lying to him.
I'm not sure how to describe it, maybe I should've used a different word.

That does make sense.
But as you said, the relationship has now ended and you doubt it'll come up again. I guess it could be rekindled, but I think there would be a ton of work that has to be done for any new relationship between Phoenix and Iris to work.
