I don't know about you, but I'm getting snow some time this week. It was the beginning of "Spring" two days ago, but I guess Winter isn't exactly over.

Hah, I'd love to see that!

I mean. Kicking down doors is one thing, but he tried to run across a burning bridge and... survived with minimal injury? Was seriously hit by a car and got away with, what? A broken leg? Phoenix is made of some solid stuff.

Ok, Phoenix sure can take a hit. You can even add getting hit with hot coffee and getting away scot-free. Although I'm not sure Phoenix can deliver the pain himself. When he busted down the door he was pretty desperate to save Maya, and desperation can drive people to do some amazing/crazy things. It's not much of a stretch to write this incident off as a fluke. I'm going to need more evidence if you still want to claim Phoenix is a badass.

How about the fact that he changed the entire legal system just to get back at one person. It might not be physically badass, but it's still gotta count for something, right?

Considering the change didn't last very long, I can't say it counts for much.

By the way, reading Horimiya, I still cannot get over the fact that Miyamura cut his hair... why? Why? He looked so cool with the longer hair, especially with the many piercings! It was so cool! Now he looks... normal. Who the hell wants to look normal, he looks boring when he's normal... please, let him grow his hair out again... I miss seeing him like this. I mean, Miyamura's long hair helped me design Luka from my manga...

Gah! I'm probably going to get a biased reply considering my target audience but here goes.

I'm not sure what I should buy this month, PW vs PL or MGS: Ground Zeroes.

I LOVE MGS and this release was sort of something that just crept up on me totally, though I can only afford one or the other. On the plus side, MGS Ground Zeroes is cheap on account of it being more of an extravagant prologue to MGS5 that a full game. That also might work against it too however.

There's also the fact that PW vs PL being a visual novel might get traded in in the month or so between paychecks, at which point I could pick it up a little cheaper since it'll probably cost more at retail than MGSGZ.

It's a difficult choice :sadshoe:

You're right, what kind of a response were you expecting from us. I've heard that the MGS series has taken a plunge as of late, but what do I know, I don't play MGS games. So... yeah, PLvsPW.

Correct me if I'm wrong but your response makes you seem a bit more excited for Ground Zeroes. Not only that, but you have a good point about PW vs PL getting a price cut quicker. If that's the case, perhaps you should go with Ground Zeroes. That way you can wait to get PL vs PW like me and the rest of North America...

I haven't played MGS games myself, but I have watched a Review on Ground Zeroes lately... and according to that, the game is extremely short. About an hour or two, with some missions. And that seems a little... well, a little bit little of a game where you have to pay 30ish dollars for.

But then, I also don't know PL/PW since I am turned off from PL, so I don't know any review of that game...

Well, which game do you really want to play first? I can put a lot of games on my waiting list just for the sake of price drops, but Ace Attorney is the only franchise that I must have on the release date. I never played a Metal Gear game, but I have seen mixed reviews for this game. The main gripe was that you could complete it in 1 or 2 hours or so, but on the other hand there was still much left to explore besides these 2 hours.

I'd say get PW vs PL, that way you also don't have to deal with avoiding spoilers on this site.

Dammit folks stop stealing my self-insert cartoon scripts!

Though perhaps with the right pay I might just be able to get both. Though Stepladder is right I guess it makes sense for me to get GZ's first. After all the fear of spoilers is all well and good but Metal Gear has been equally spoilerable.

Also I don't know where this negative feedback on the Metal Gear Series of late has come from. MGS4 was a masterpiece in storytelling (by my opinion I suppose) and Peace Walker played fantastically and those were the last two MGS titles.

As for folks looking like their avatar, I tend to go that unless they change it about often enough.
