I tried to get this request done from the Ace Attorney Online thread. I have a couple people doing it, but I am pretty eager to post my trial soon, and school is getting in the way of things. Not being to make blinking/talking animation is also being a bother for me. Can people revamp these sprites to make them more Ace Attorney-like in style?

I also had concept art for poses for some of the sprites as well:


FUN FACT: I tried to make revamped sprites but they aren't as good. If anyone wants to do a Phoenix Wright style sprite collection of any of these characters, PM me.

I'm not trying to offend, but why can't you learn the Phoenix Wright style if that is your only issue with them? All you would need to modify in your style is the shape of the jaw, the eyes and the nose. Plus, several people make sprites in their own style as well. It's not really an issue. What I see is the biggest issue in your sprites is an inadequate knowledge of shading.

I don't understand why you've been requesting so much work from others when you already have an acceptable enough knowledge of anatomy instead of trying to learn spriting technique and improving your own by yourself. Is that because you don't want to, don't know how or something else?

My apologies, mercurial. I told you it is mainly because of school. I also get irked by franken sprites, because all of my attempts requires the transform button. I have read his how to, but it didn't really work in my favor. While I am telling you this, I am trying but it still doesn't turn out in the PW art style. It is also why Apollo Grimoire is asking me to draw box art of characters that already have box art as it is! As for spriting, I could show you more examples that follow what you told me, but once again, it may not follow the PW style format.

Now listen, I'm not well-known on this site (yet), but I need three sprites (or sprite collections, if you wanna go there). I saw how someone asked here, and the sprites found were actually really cool! I need three sprites for three AA fan characters. Here.

Name: Emma Noel
Age: About 26
Looks: A little pale-skinned. She has a large bosom, but not too large as too burying her face in them. She has a stern look most of the time, and thin ruby red lips. Her eyes are narrowed and grey. She normally wears a grey business-style suit (at least, that's what she calls it. it's often times called a magician's outfit, which is a better name if you ask me), with a blue necktie. Her hair is blonde, and normally in a pixie cut with two long strands at each side of her face, curling into her cheeks. The hair is sometimes hidden under a top hat with a blue stripe, but most of the time said hat is nowhere to be found.
Personality: Stern, solemn, rather strict. Is normally quite quiet unless she's discovered something amazing (She's a prosecutor). She is quite mature, but loves a good video game. Or two. Or three. How about four? She has a softer side, but will only open up to you if you can beat her at Just Dance. Has a variety of insults that she saves just for her opponents. She knows everything about almost every brain-related condition in history, and will not hesitate to diagnose you with one.
Unique character trait: Her incredibly thick book on Psychology and brain disorders. Her favorite chapters are #253, Dementia, and #107, Achromatopsia. She will not hesitate to smack you with it if you insult it, and has been known to use it as a pillow.
Poses: Talking, yelling, pointing and screaming, laughing nervously, pulling out her book to hit you, opening her book, falling on the ground in defeat.

Name: Montgomery "Mont" Blanc
Age: 21
Looks: Has longish dark hair that goes straight down to his chin and then stops. Wears circular glasses over his big green eyes. Has a big smile and a gap in between his teeth. He wears a dark red turtleneck sweater (not over sized) and black jeans. He normally dons hunting boots, though he doesn't hunt. He has a pencil behind his ear 24-7. Shorter than Emma, and not as skinny. He's of average height and weight. Not really muscular, but not flabby or skinny. Tanned skin. Looks Hispanic!
Personality: Very bright, confident, and curious about life. He will never stop asking questions. Literally. He's the best reporter that any newspaper or magazine could have (unfortunately, he's always the prime suspect for any case!). Hates TV, claiming the people on there are scripted phonies. Will never hesitate to whip out a pencil and pad and write down a good article, but is prone to breaking his pencil in his hand when surprised, causing his hand to only slightly bleed. He will cry about this, though. Easily tricked/manipulated.
Unique character trait: His notepad that never seems to run out of pages. "If they end," Mont has been known to say. "I'll die!" Whether he is joking or not is unknown.
Poses: Talking, laughing, crying, whipping out his notepad to write, crushing his pencil in his hand, crying about that, bleeding hand, hopping up and down.

Name: Marina Moca
Age: 25
Looks: Has long white curly hair that she keeps in long, white curly pigtails under a blue fedora. Has bright purple eyes and a big smile. Rather pretty, with luscious red lips and a D-cup. She wears a blue belly blouse and short khaki shorts. She has lots of jewelry, such a golden cross necklace and many, many golden bracelets. She wears knee-length black boots with wheels on them for roller-skating around to get to places quickly.
Personality: Falls in love easily, easily broken, very nice, but rather insecure about her looks, especially her hair. She knows how to get what she wants, but only uses those skills in case of emergency. Quick to express her feelings. Hates being alone. Is mortally afraid of the dark, cats, getting her heart broken, enclosed spaces, and loud noises. She is rather loyal. The jealous type. Loves her vanilla mocha, but not as much as Godot does. She averages 2 cups a day, every day. She has claimed that if she drank as much coffee as Godot did, she would be in the hospital.
Unique character trait: Her hair, which froofs up when she's surprised. When asked if she knows this, she claims it's just the conditioner she uses. She also has her golden cross necklace, which doesn't blast lasers, but makes people very uncomfortable when they see it for some reason. She has no idea of its affect.
Poses: Talking, crossing her arms, nodding, slamming her hand on the desk, pointing, stepping back in shock (hair froof!), glaring, fangirling over something, smirking with confidence, banging her head on the desk.

I need 2 new characters! Two characters that have a villain personality. They are supposed to be evil, one devilish and crazy, and the other being very sly and mischevious. They should be partners in crime, but be VERY different in appearance. I think they should be some crazy villain. They should also be secret people, like they have a secret hideout and the law cannot punish them because they carry out their crimes in secret.

I'd recommend giving a bit more information on what you want from them physically, rather than personality-wise. For instance, you haven't even told us whether they're supposed to be male or female. You have a better chance of getting a sprite if people know what you want.

Their gender and age is unknown because they are supposed to be secret. They should wear masks to conceal their identity. They also wear yellow suits and red gloves. Their hair is brown, and it is barely visible because their masks cover their hair too. How about that?

Holy crap, you still do that? Anyway, they should be in the sprites section of c-r, but I'm not sure. Why not just use the AJ backrounds with DS sprites because the HD sprites are missing A TON of frames.

I know right, I can't believe I'm doing it, either. And I'm not worried about the frames, I'm only using the backgrounds, since it makes shit look better. I only need it for the snazzy new opening I made.

Well uh...I already have everything you posted here. And the same problem arises, namely the fact that the prosecution, judge, and witness backgrounds are all cut in half. Is there some special reason why the defense background isn't messed up or is there just no way to get the full backgrounds?

The prosecution bench is just a mirror of the defense, so just flip that, and you'll have both. The same goes with the blur effect, witness stand and the judge's bench halves, they're symmetrical. (The left half is a mirror of the right, so they only drew half and flipped it to save time I'm guessing.)

Well, I'm not so sure I am allowed to ask, but if not, feel free to edit/delete this message.
I am currently trying to make a custom AA game with Case Maker. However, I'm really not good with spriting.. For small edits, I can do it...but I need to make new sprites for my OC. By new sprites, I mean it just had to look like my OC. If you want to use some of the game sprites as a start, it's fine with me. As long as the final result looks like I want :)

I am looking to commission someone for a full sheet and animations from these sprites.. I know it's a lot of work, so that's why I am willing to pay.

Since we're talking about a commission, that's why I wasn't sure it was allowed. But I'm trying anyway.
