Well, the stinger at the end would imply otherwise. And that was in the original version, wasn't it? But even so, many things were supposed to be standalone games. That's the way these things go. Consumer demand is strong.

It was. I think Spike did wanted to groom it into one of their series IPs like Kenka Banchou and such if possible, but given that it was a new sort of game for them, based on a completely new idea, it was not developed with the assumption they were going to create more.

I agree with geno, the Stinger implies otherwise - but that's about as much as a sequel indicator as any given Jump-Scare Ending in every horror movie. You know, the eyes opening, the hand twitching, etc. I kinda wish it had remained a standalone game. Sure I would've been pissed since it answered nothing about what the reason behind the lockdown was (ie. what was going on outside and why it happened) but... yeah I have no way of ending that sentence. Positively.

Of course. I mean, I'm not saying that everything with a stinger automatically means it will get a sequel or was intended to get one. Just that Stingers are used everywhere and so often, it just doesn't (or shouldn't) mean anything anymore.

Well if I was interested in these people's past, maybe... then again, I hope there will be no DR3. Another Episode, fine, already making it. But considering that DR2 already felt like a rehash of DR (only island instead of school), I don't want a third game that feels like it's ripping off its rip-off that was ripping off the first game.

Luckly I learned now you can get it all done in one playthrough because of DR (meaning just the project parts). I already have my strategy set up for when I'm done with my second play through in English of the main story.

Honestly I think cosplayers can get away with "wearing" spoilers if they don't draw attention to them. Just, you know, don't mind the elephant in the room.. I've seen that sort of thing happen in events before. Those who can sense they're staring at a spoiler just won't dig into the details of the cosplay.
So sorry to interrupt the convo, I just wanted to gush because that cosplay pic's really good!

I'm confused, cause everywhere I go, Junko is generally referred to being a "strawberry blond" that has pink tips. Hence I'm always confused when someone opts for a full-pale-pink wig for her... maybe it's just my OCD, but it's a detail that isn't small and it's really bothersome.
