Oh man Ahlbi Ur'gaid is so hilarious damn also Spirit of Justice is the best subtitle in the series (I googled Spirit of Justice apparently it's also an important-ish statue somewhere)

Anyway what are your thoughts on the "That's Enough!" Rayfa bubble?

I love anything they make into a bubble XD It's usually short and sweet. And I wonder if the audio of her saying it in the trailer is in game or just part of the dialogue she said in the trailer?

I was kind of hoping that it wouldn't be a not-so direct translation of the Japanese bubble and "Insolence!" would be a great one.

Where the heck is everyone getting the last name "Ur'gaid" from? I don't see it in the trailer or PR message at all. Am I just blind?

blahmoomoo wrote:
Looks like they're using the same dialog font as DD, but I don't immediately see any of the weird cut off letters or kerning problems in the trailer. Although, since the trailer apparently isn't using actual 3DS renders, I guess there's still a possibility that they didn't fix it. I just hope they did, because that was annoying.

Interestingly, I never noticed any bad kerning or anything. Not consciously, anyhow. Maybe it did have a subconscious effect on me, like making it a bit less pleasant to read.
I do remember not liking the font itself, with how blurry-ish it looked

Sniper and Rifle wrote:
So would it be pronounced Hu-ra-in or still Kurain?

The same as Kurain, I believe. But keep in mind that Kurain isn't pronounced as Ku-Rain (as in the weather) but as Ku-Ra-In/Ku-Ra-Een. That's how I recently learned it's supposed to be pronounced as.

jaydrick0620 wrote:

I like it. I'm actually the kind of person that would've preferred to only ever have the classic 3 bubbles, but at this point in time, I'm already long resigned to the fact that any new significant character will have its own bubble. Resigning to that, I like the bubble. It's nice

The kerning is still weird, and oddly in different ways from DD, but the sharpness makes it a lot more readable regardless. At least it's not terrible, since it just makes some words look a bit disjointed, rather than looking like one word is two or two letters are one.

If you don't know what I mean by kerning, look at the spacing around these bolded letters in the image above:

Your Magistry, the defense asserts its right

Yeah, I do see it a little bit, but I honestly have to look for it. It might still have a bit of a subconscious effect on me by making it slightly more tiresome to read, but I don't think it'll be anything bad.

Nick's hair has always been a little inconsistent across the games, official art, and manga. It must be because he's a lawyer.

Hey, the benefit of it being a download-only title? You won't lose it, and it won't get stolen. The downside? If you lose your 3DS or it gets stolen, you're screwed.

Yeah but Nintendo operates with account systems now. You could retrieve it on a new 3ds from your account.

The real downside is that Nintendo and/or Capcom can pull the game from the eShop at any time. If you don't already have the game downloaded, you can say bye bye to your game.
(Sometimes the game will still be available for download if you've purchased the game and it's pulled, but that isn't always the case. And Nintendo's eShop servers won't be up for eternity, I think.)

You only need your Nintendo ID you used to download the game. You can also look up all your transactions yourself on the my.nintendo website.

I don't think Nintendo has changed their 3DS account system just because you can tie your NNID to it now. I have an old 3DS XL and a new normal 3DS and I cannot download my games from the new 3DS. In fact, I can't tie my NNID to it because it's on my o3DS, so in case I lose my o3DS all my e-shop content will be gone for good. Surely NX will have purchases that are tied to the account rather than the console, but right now there is still genuine reason to be concerned about the digital downloads as they can be lost with the console as opposed to losing the console but having all your physical games be safe.

I was unclear. The Nintendo support can help you when you manage to lose your 3DS and all you need is your NID. Yep, it's inconvenient, but at least you don't lose your stuff.

You just aren't allowed to have more than one 3DS per account (same goes for Wii U). But you can use the transfer utility to migrate your account and all data from one 3DS to another (which resets the original 3DS and overwrites the new one). I'm guessing that if you claim that a 3DS is lost, Nintendo can detach your account from it and provide a way to log in to a new 3DS.

If you did a transfer when you got your new 3DS, there would be nothing to lose. But even now, you could still recover whatever is on your old 3DS by getting a third. I don't know if support has any way to merge accounts though; haven't heard anything saying that was possible, so probably not.

Exactly, so if I lose the system that has my data on it, I lose all my games. It's tied to the system and not the account.

As I said, the account may be tied to the system, but Nintendo's support can link it to a different system if necessary, i.e. if it is lost. I'm not sure why that isn't clear. It was even possible before the Nintendo Account, except you had to use the serial number of the 3DS.

In any case, this is a tangent from the actual topic.
