"Ah, Anton, a pleasure to make your acquaintance." Thomlyn said, walking over to the violinist to shake his hand. "I was beginning to think we'd be lacking in sophistication around here." He glanced at Alfons as he said this. "I hope we can become good friends; I'd love to hear you play at some point."
"Um, yes, me too!" Sakura added, also joining in the conversation. "I like to play music sometimes, but it'll be nice to hear from a professional! Erm, if you're planning to play with the Slezak brothers I'd... quite like to join in as well. Get a full performance going, you know?"

Feena in the meantime had run up to Sayako when she had a free moment. "Heya, Matchy! It's nice to meet ya! So, um, I was wondering..." She looked around the room, in particular at the Esquivel brothers, Kaibo and Alfons. "Who do I have the most compatibility with here, would you say? Viktor's a bit stuffy, but he's got a rockin' body. Anton seems like a right gentleman, though maybe a bit too serious. Kaibo's pretty hot, yeah? Unapproachable, but, like, mysterious! An' Alfons seems like a fun guy, assuming he's even into girls. So, er, yeah, any advice?" Her eyes sparkled expectantly at the Coupler.

A couple bloops could be heard from the laptop and Jeremy ran back over to take care of the notifications, waving apologetically before he did so.

"'Queeny'? That's an interesting nickname. Felicity, call me strange--and I mean it, please do because this is gonna sound weird--but I think I might know a person who'd go by that name," Jay explained, scratching his chin in thought. Then Jay turned to Thomlyn and Sakura and asked, "Y-you play music too, Sakura? I think we have enough people to start a band now!" He laughed genuinely to hide the lack of surprise in the question.

"'Go by it'? Well, she didn't choose that nickname for herself, you know? But I'd say that was one of the better names we had." She smiled in fond remembrance.

She tapped the side of her face with one finger as she thought. "Hmm... I really don't know the people in question well enough yet to make any couplings with confidence, so please take this with a grain of salt, but going by what little I have learned... out of those you've mentioned, Anton seems a good choice to pursue. You seem a bit more interested in the others for their appearance more than anything, and while physical attractiveness is indeed important when determining compatibility, I feel personality is more so, and as far as that goes you seemed to have the best opinion of Anton. That may change, of course, as you learn more of the others in the future, but... for now that's my suggestion." She smiled and shuffled her hands a bit. "I-I hope that was helpful..."

The group was chattering cheerfully when a new student entered the room. He appeared to be Japanese. He had dark black hair and thick glasses, and wore a cap which said something in Japanese. He looked at the others, and spoke up nervously. "Um, hello everyone! Is this the school field trip?"

"Yep, you're in the right place", replied Eta.

"Oh, well, thanks! I suppose I should introduce myself then. I'm, uh, Rutake Rikoda! Nice to meet you, everyone!" He scratched his head awkwardly.

"Oh, and there is another coming. They said they wanted to get something prepared first, though."

"Hmm, you're pretty on-the-spot 'bout that! Queeny plays a brilliant game of chess, and I haven't seen many people get close to beating her at it," Felicity said with a nod. "Although we also called her Queeny 'cause she was kinda bossy when we were young, though she grew out of it once she started playing chess with Pradrago - and soundly beating him at it."

She laughed, though it seemed slightly forced. "Yeah, I'd say my parents probably read the future or something with my name."

"Luck's all over the place today, I guess," she said, taking his hand. "I never thought of wordsmith as a talent, but you're pretty awesome at it!"

She turned to the new student. "Hello, Rutake! I'm Felicity Clover, SHSL Lucky Student. Hope you can make yourself at home in all this havoc," she said warmly, gesturing to the whole room.

"Pradrago huh? That name is familiar to me too. That does it, I know exactly who you're talking about! It's--no, no, I'm sorry, I've already pried too much," Jay began, quickly halting, embarrassed that he'd taken it this far, "Um, maybe we can discuss this later once we're better friends, or once there's not a bunch of people around. Would that be okay? I'm sorry, I'm trying to hone my detective skills and I keep forgetting that peoples' privacy is important."

Rutake took Felicity's hand. "Um, thank you. I'm the Ultimate Planes Enthusiast, if I didn't mention it already. I-"

But whatever he's saying is cut off by a bright light on the wall. A man appears on the new screen. He appears to be 17, and is wearing a beret on his head as well as a pair of horn-rimmed glasses. He looks down at the students intimidatingly. A small young girl appears next to him on the screen. She looks younger than him, and is wearing the traditional American Hope's Peak Uniform. Suddenly, they wave, and it becomes immediately clear that they're not real. In fact, they look almost like....puppets?

Suddenly the screen disappears. Everyone looks around and tries to see where it came from, when a girl looking rather similar to the female puppet walks in with two tiny puppets and a projector. She puts the projector on the ground and gasps for air. Both Eta and Rutake look amazed.

"What the-?!" "Who're you?"

The girl grins. She looks to be about 13. She waves at the others cheerfully. "Hello, everyone! I'm Sophia Cox. But most others know me as the Ultimate Ventriloquist! Now, introduce yourselves, friends!"

"I'm Sully", says the male puppet, and the female says,"And I'm Soap! How're you doing?" During this conversation, Sophia's lips don't even appear to move. She puts them down. "Anyway, I'm the newcomer. What did I miss?"

Although I'll have to ask Queeny one of these days why she never told me 'bout you, Jay," she said, nodding to herself and making a note of it. "She has rare few friends..." Felicity said thoughtfully and then beamed at him as she continued, "But I'm glad one of them is somebody like you!"

"You don't have to apologise, Jay." She shook her head. "I'd be reacting the same way if I heard of a friend of mine from someone else."

Thomlyn laughed. "Oh, but of course! Tell me general preferences now and I might even have something here for you!" Saying this, he raised up his right arm slightly, indicating the discrete suitcase he was carrying.

Sakura's eyebrows went up in surprise, and her hand flew up to cover her now-open mouth. "Oh! That's an impressive deduction!" She said, quite pleased. "Yeah, piano and singing are my preferences! Though I've given many instruments a try, just for fun. Even if you don't entirely know what you're doing, so long as you know the basics it can be good play around, get a feel for it yourself. That's about the stage I'm at with violin, honestly - I know individual notes and the like, I know how to avoid the horrible screeching sound amateurs apparently make in cartoons when trying it for the first time, but that's about it."

"Though you're right about personality, I'll make sure to get to know everyone before diving into anything! But wow, you sure know your stuff, huh? I'll probably come ask you about this later. Hopefully we can become friends, too!" With this as a parting message she ran off to be with her brother, or more likely with Anton.
