Monokuma pulls out a chart.
"Sound waves. If someone shoots Monomi on floor 4, someone on floor 3 will hear unless they are standing in one of the RCs. Someone on floor 2 however won't. Too much floor in the way. And same with floor 1. If you got rid of the floor however, you would hear. Like how Cain could hear Azurine's gunshots from the beach but not Colin from the cell. The sound traveled to Cain through the open window. But all the walls and floors prevented it from reaching Colin."

"I think you're right," Simon says. "Maybe the camera was left at the bottom of the hidden staircase, so Cain could hear it from the storage room. So, he found it and went up the stairs. Then, once he got to the top floor, the scream box was used. At some point, the camera was carried up the stairs, which accounts for the weird voices Veronica heard."

"Like I said earlier, the scratches on the box were only on the top side, so that was probably just from the knives. Besides, if the killer was goofing around on the top floor, it would have taken them forever to get the remote for the scream box down to the arcade. At that point, it would have been easier to just drop it in the passage."

"But that only begs the question: if the killer used the remote to trigger the commotion, 'n Cain's death, then how'd it get from the killer's hands to the Arcade on the second floor? The only time I can think of is while we were all investigatin', after we found Cain. Which really means that the killer could only be Damien, if'n I'm right about that."
