He looked at the rain pouring out the window and took a deep breath before continuing, his voice unsteady. "B-but if something happens to me...I-I need you to take care of Asher...he's...hes always been a bit hotheaded, gets it from me I suppose." He chuckled weakly "S-so you should...keep him in line if something bad happens..." he trailed off, looking a little lost.
"and your stepmother too." He continued with a sad smile "I... I know you two don't always get along but... this is still her first time here meeting most of the family. You two are all she has..." He cleared his throat again to steady his voice. "So she might really need some support from people she knows."
He looked down at Violet with wet eyes.
"O-Ok?"

[THEME MUSIC]
Throughout the mansion rooms begin to disappear, blinking out of this world.
The Moonview Family can vaguely smell something burning acridly when the light in the hall makes a small noise leaving them in pitch blackness.
Several people scream, some begin fumbling around. The deafening sound of footsteps can be heard all around as unknown people start moving around in the darkness.
Bertram barks an order for Allister and Briggs to collect candles.
Several noises can be heard from the direction of the kitchen as the servants try to feel around in the dark.
Everyone waits with anxious anticipation, scared for their lives.
Thunk! Thunk!
The source of the noise seems to come from above everyone. The strange hollow noise sounds like something was hitting the roof overhead, other than just the rain.
There's a few more thunks before they jarringly stop and a hollow crash can be heard from the front of the house, as if something hit the arch above the door and then the pavement.
Lightning strikes, momentarily lighting up the great hall. Between Archer and Twilip is an unidentifiable body, but it's immediately dark before anyone can do anything.
Bertram calls for Briggs, who doesn't respond.
Mickey says something about his lighter being missing for some reason.
There's a few clicks and then the room is illuminated in the dim light of a single lighter.
In the confusion, it's hard to tell who all is in the room, but the one thing that's obvious is the body in the middle of the floor; it's Allister. His eyes are wide open with no other discernable wounds. He's got a smile on his lips, but it's clear that it doesn't belong.
Billy is the one holding the lighter. He goes over to the door where the sound was heard from earlier.
He opens it, and everyone can hear the deafening sound of the rain. It's raining to hard to stick the lighter out very far, but the group can't see anything there.

Much like he did with Archer, he gently brought his fingertips to Allister's eyelids and shut them, trying to give him some sort of peace.

Billy held the light her high and rushed around the room, trying to get some semblance of a head count. Then he rushed toward the stairs and kept speaking, his scowling face barely lit by the flame.
“Weird noises come from upstairs! Some should stay here, but rest come with me! We need investigate!”
A small part of his beard was on fire, but he appeared to not care.

They walk down the hallway, and the rain gets louder. They push a nearby door open, and the downpour sounds like it's inside the room.
It's the door to Gloria's study. The door creaks open to the room where the family spent time mourning their grandmother. The doors to the balcony are wide open.
Lightning flashes, and everyone can see two bodies slumped over the balcony. Two adult men.

Robin and Zachary fumble around the front of the house in the rain, they are unable to find anything anywhere near the porch however. It's like whatever fell mysteriously disappeared.
Up above them however, up on the balcony outside Gloria's study, they barely make out that some people are up there.

Billy and the others approach the forms. They are slumped against the rail.
They're both in night clothes. One has short blond hair, one has long, thick, dark hair.
They survived in the story, but here they were dead. Basil and James.
