Man, I feel really lucky then. I was actually at the mall grabbing lunch and got the call from EB that my preorder was in.

For me, it actually took a lot shorter than I expected; usually it takes at least two days to get Capcom games over here in Vancouver, and the last time I was seeking out a Capcom game (Megaman Starforce) I couldn't find anything until about a week after release.

But yea, hooray for the people who found it, and my condolences to the people that didn't.

Despite the fires, my Gamestop got it in stock early yesterday- walked in and got it and my plushie in no time flat. Yeah, the plushie is rather lacking.... but on the plus side, I won't be too broken up at the amount of abuse it's going to take hanging on my growing collection of cell phone bling! (Now, if only this old brick of mine could do ringtones.... I swear, my phone is seriously identical to Phoenix's phone, only mine doesn't do ringtones! T_T )

Yay!!!! Finally picked up my copy of the game today at EBG... and the one my fiancee pre-ordered too!( I was actually able to pick her copy up... the guys all knows me all too much there so they trust me :godot:

)

BUT... I have to wait for her to finish work to give her her copy to start playing it...Oh well, I'll play Megaman ZXA that I picked up at the same time :phoenix:

I finally got my game. I had to wait between half an hour and an hour in Gamestop as they opened boxes, and I never did get the bonus.
But they gave me free stuff and 10% off for the inconvenience, and they promised me that they'd get me the bonus the next time I come in.
And at last I can play it! Even the first case is great!

YAY I now have my game as well. Finished the first case, that was fun. Now if only they had the plushies. The manager said that they hadn't come in yet, but the Castlevania X pre-order goodies came in. Weird I say, weird. You would think they'd be there too.

I was totally going to pre-order it but I didn't want to waste my time :[ people at the gamestop near by me are jerks.

Today I walked into Target today and asked the guy and he said "Phoenix Wright? Never heard of it" and I was like.. O.M.G :beef:

. he said they only get new games on Tuesday so I should go back then
Then I went to Best Buy and I asked the guy who worked in the DS game's section he said that they will probably get it on Monday.... T_T Gulity of not getting T&T.. So I'm going back on Thursday and If they don't have it.. I'm so going to go crazy like Dahila.. :chinami:

ahh man that stinks :( yeah I hope they dont charge you (I had somethin like that happen to me a while back like a month ago I had ordered something and it came but like half of my package was backordered and i was mad :F but they didn't charge me... it did take like 1 1/2 weeks though..)

That sounds almost exactly what I did today. Walked in, found 3 on the shelf, paid the girl at the register 30 bucks, and walked out with T&T in my DS as I started the first case.

I can finally tell my tale. It's not very different than what happened to everyone else, and that's what freaks me out. It was like a replay of what I've heard about other Gamestops.

First of all, they never even called me when it came in, and they said they would(I went in there on the 23rd, and it wasn't there). So I went in on Friday, after I called to see if it was in yet. They gave me the game very quickly. Then I asked for the plushie. I don't know if you read my post before, but I was determined to get that plushie. They said "We never got any pre-order gifts with this game, did we?" and proceeded to look through every drawer and cabinet. I kept complaining how it was the least thing they could do for me, then some person "conveniently" found one and gave it to me. It's so small, yet so worth it. I was seriously about to yell OBJECTION at them! Gamestop does not amuse me!
P.S. I just finished Case 2 today! :yuusaku:
