Chris was sent sliding back and onto the ground. He got up, rubbing his cheek, but glaring at the man. "Y-You..."

As the doctor was giving his long speech about taking care of yourself Emi was busy sketching away. One of her favorite things in the world was the sound her pencil made against the paper. She could drown out everything around her if she focused on that little sound. Her hand worked in a blur and a little bead of sweat formed on her temple. Emi never quite knew how long she was gone from the world when she focused like this, but the results were always worth it.
When she was done she had a wonderfully drawn picture of Felix smiling and putting the paper had she'd made onto his guitar.
As the doctor was talking she turned it around so Felix could see.
