Demi: Why would I defend him? What kind of a question is that?!
Viki: D, the guy is a professional assassin, a caffeine and sugar addict and killed more then 20.
Demi: Under orders from the FBI, Viki...
Viki: Still! This is one of the worst decisions your ever made.
Demi: Since when do I make bad decisions?
Viki: I dunno I didn't count.
Demi: (Was that supposed to mock me in some way?)
Demi: Demi Demonic, defense attorney 2 years running, got no guilty about... 6 times, nothing serious mostly, this is my second murder trial, my first was a bit awkward but I still got off well...
Demi: Today's defendant is an old friend, not best or important or anything but I still count him as a friend... and... wait... oops, now I'm late! DAMN IT!

District Courthouse, Courtroom 03
5:10 PM

*Jury mumbles*
Judge: *SMACK* Order! Order!... erm... where's the defense?
???: Eh?... Where is he?
Demi: GAH! Sorry I'm late!
Judge: ... Well.. that was an awkward beginning of trial, but I really shouldn't care.
Judge: Court is now in session for the trial of Mr. Whisper Festi.
Judge: Prosecution, Mr. Isac Lucius, your opening statement...
Isac: Yes your honor, just yesterday a murder took place in the "Smart Withdraw"'s main bank building, it was close to 11 and a half PM when the body of the company's owner, Awill Drew, was found in his office, a few obvious knife stabs were found, however, there was an almost ridiculous amount of slashes as well, and blood was basicly dripping off the ceiling, a slaughter it would seem, I doubt this was an act of rational thinking...
Judge: Yes but how does that lead to the defendant?
Isac: Well, the defendant is recorded as being a caffeine addict as well as a sugar addict, he is so hyper he can't think right most of the time.
Isac: The defendant works for a special Police Squadron called the CAG, or Criminal Assassination Guild, basicly, they take care of the big time criminals but only by taking written orders from people who aren't always the police, the squad is usually the last resort so there aren't any problems with them, usually...
Judge: Then the victim might have been?
Demi: If I may? No your honor, the victim is by all means innocent, however, a part of the statement is incorrect, Whisper CAN think rationally while hyper, you can call it getting used to it, he gets it so much he almost acts "normal" like that.
Isac: That I didn't know, my apologies, in any case the defendant isn't exactly our best picked suspect, but he is the most plausible choice...
Judge: Then doubt already exists?
Isac: Don't worry... I believe all doubt will disperse in time...
Demi: (Isac isn't a bad prosecutor... but he always seems to be in nither side of the court, his own or the defense... helping both... weird guy...)
Judge: Very well, any other objections?
Demi: No your honor.
Judge: Okay then, court calls the defendant to the stand.

Whisper: ...
Isac: Defendant, state your name and occupation.
Whisper: Yeah... *yawn* I'm *yawn* Whisper Festi *yaaaaaaaaaaaaawn*
Isac: Erm... defendant?
Whisper: Oh I'm sorry, they didn't have any *yawn* of my treats...
Whisper: I work for the CAG as one of the *yawn* top assassins.
Judge: They have a board for "top assassins"?
Whisper: Why yes your owner...
Judge: Your honor...
Whisper: Why thank you...
Demi: (Shut up Whisper... please...)
Judge: Erm... defendant, if you would, please testify on what you had done... or saw.
Whisper: Yeaaaah...
Demi: (Okay... here we go... if I rememeber correctly the witness in this case is... then I better offer cross-examination regardless of who's testimony is this...)

Autopsy report: Victim was found dead at 11:30 PM in his office, cause was from a mad slash and stab fest of knife use.

Whisper: They take them directly from the client, this is to prevent fake requests, guess it didn't work this time...
Demi: I'm not so sure...
Whisper: I got to the building and to the corridor were the "target" was in in about... 11:25 PM

Demi: Where was the corridor located exactly?
Whisper: It was the one that leads to the company owner's office.
Demi: I see... and your "target" was there?
Whisper: Well she was supposed to be, but...

Demi: Erm... before I begin, you earn medals for extraordinary deeds in a job?
Whisper: Well yeah, makes more members attempt them...

Whisper: From an air vent opening located above the corridor.
Demi: So you litterearly jumped... Was she walking towards the victim's office when you saw her?
Whisper: Actually... it seemed more like she was just standing there... waiting...
Demi: I can raise a few suspicions off that...

Isac: Please, defense, there are many reasons for one to wait outside somebody like the Victim's office in that manner.
Demi: Uh... right... go on Whisper.

Demi: She turned around and you recognized your sister by face?
Whisper: Yeah... it was a close call...
Demi: I'll say... did she tell you anything?
Whisper: Well... she didn't seem phased, more... amused...
Demi: (Is he serious? This is one easy case...)
Whisper: What's with the grin?
Demi: Nothing...

Whisper: Erm... 11:29 or so, I think the call about the murder arrived a few seconds after I came... 2 minutes later they caught me.
Demi: But the body was discovered in 11:30...
Whisper: Strange...
Demi: (Must... not... scream...) Well Mr. Festi, I believe that the informer was your sister, but why would she inform the police 1 minute before the victim was found dead?
Whisper: Iunno...
Demi: (Oh you poor child...) Maybe she KNEW of the murder?
Whisper: Maybe...
Isac: Okay seriously Whisper, you're being ignorant to a sad end, even the judge can see clearly that if somebody calls about a body before it was discovered then he must have known what happened before anyone else.
Judge: Yeah! Wait... what?
Isac: But Demi, if she knew the murder happened, she might have just been a simple witness, and was in so much shock she couldn't think straight for a while.
Demi: Oh yeah... haven't thought about that.
Isac: Still... I believe it's worth a testimony...
Demi: Actually there is one more thing I would like Whisper to testimony about...
Isac: Hmm? What?
Demi: Whisper, please testify about how you received your orders.
Whisper: Eh? What? I must have snoozed off...

Zoe: *flips her hair making it shine*
Demi: [Gah! This woman's hair smells like a nuclear power plant!]
Isac: *cough* Witness... please state your name and... and *cough*... profession... (before we die if you don't mind...)

Zoe: Then I heard screaming, and when I went to check, I saw... Well...

Judge: I see...
Demi: [Something doesn't seem right... Right off the bat too...]
Isac: Excuse me witness. Were you really supposed to get a raise?
Zoe: Why yes! Hehe... Here! See?! It's a raise letter!
Judge: How exactly is this related?
