I ended up liking the character design so much, that i've attempted recreating her in Poser 6 using Daz3D's Aiko3 figure.

Any comments and critisism welcome. I tried to make her look as close as I could. I'm fairly proud of the face, and now all have to worry about is finding a suitable dress/shoes/umbrella.
Also, just for fun, if anyone else has attempted to create a Phoenix Wright character in Poser, feel free to post your renders here. =3

The only thing I think that needs to be darken are her nostrils, they kind of stand out. Other than that, I love it! I can't wait to see it finished

Yosh, out of all the fan-character sprites i've seen thus far, she is my favorite. Apart from the fact that she uses Chinami's face well...um, that kinda IS the other reason in a different way, she's not just yet another Mia Fey / F von Karma sprite edit. Tis quite orginal, and very well done. ^^
The fact that the sprite uses Chinami's face made this render even more inevitable (same face as Chinami's).

For example, the base anime human female figure, Aiko3, was bought from www.daz3d.com (part of their 3rd Millenium figures). I used all the morphs she came with to create Chinami's likliness the best I could. This is the hardest part, because using a morph too much may break the mesh, or just totally ruin the character. ^^"
For those who want to do similar stuff, but not shell out hundreds of pounds for the Program to do it in, there is a free equivalent, DazStudio (D|S), avaliable at www.daz3d.com . It's their own Poser software which supports all poser figures and whatnot, but their rendering engine is different.

Yeah, Poser and DazStudio are quite memory greedy programs (considering they were made with the intention of handling fairly high rez CGI models, such as the ones that now come prepackaged with Poser). I'm going to assume that you got your DazStudio program (which is free anyway, it's always been free) also came with the Aiko3 Base (that is, if you're talking about 3DWorld) and a couple of stuff for her.
I will say once again, if anyone here has made their own Phoenix Wright renders within Poser or Daz Studio, then feel free to post them in this here topic (I don't think i'll be doing any more for a while, and i'm interested to see what everyone else has done in the area of Phoenix Wright Poser fanart).

I'm currently working on a new Chinami/Ayame using a recently released figure called Nanana (it's basically Aiko3 with a new head). Nanana is the same head I used on the pink haired girl in my sprites topic, and she is greatly suited for PW characters.
This is what I have so far (ignore the hair):

I'm now trying out recreating some of her expressions and poses from the game. Since I have no suitable outfits for her, I put her into a pink and white japanese school uniform.
1. Her serious face. This sprite was the main reference for Ayame's face creation, so I did this pose first. Very serious. Serious business.
2. Her smiling face. I realise her face isn't accurate to the sprite, this is because I just couldn't get it right, so I just re-used the expression shown in a previous render shown previously in this topic.
3. Quite proud of this one, her "OMG YOU OBJECTED ME!" pose (complete with flying hair). Was a nightmare to get this one to look right, and somehow her head looks bigger than it should do (despite I didn't mess with ANY of the head scaling).
No postwork has been done to these, they are as is, so expect some tiny problems in some places.

Poser 7: 3D program by e-frontier that rigs, poses, animates and renders characters, settings, props, etc. It doesn't model, but you can import custom models to rig for Poser use.
Aiko3: Base figure free from http://www.daz3d.com , search the store. For all of her character and body morphs, you need to buy (as in, pay money for) the seperate Morphs + Textures pack. Hairs and clothes can be bought or downloaded freely from sites such as http://www.daz3d.com or http://www.renderosity.com (you can also follow exactly what I said here to get Hiro3, Aiko3's male counterpart).
Nanana: A freebie figure that uses Aiko3's body with a new head. I posted a link to the download page in the Ayame deviation on my DeviantArt account.

Clothes: Schoolgirl outfit from http://www.daz3d.com (you pay for this one).
