This is not first come first serve. Of the people who volunteer, I'll pick the four I believe will do the most fair job of judging.
Of course, if you volunteer to be a judge, you cannot enter the contest, even if you volunteer to judge an area you're not entering in. Sometimes if there's an entry or two that we're stuck between, we'll ask judges from other categories what they think, and we don't want there to be any kind of bias.

Actually, Croik, if I may, wouldn't it be a better idea for potential judge candidates to pm you with their desired position? I don't know if it'd be a good idea for the entrants to know beforehand who's going to be judging what, particularly in the case of guest-judges.
Or maybe I'm too pessimistic about our members' integrity. :X

I honestly don't plan to enter the contest but I would like to play some part it in.
But the choice is yours if you want me to judge.
