))Maya tried to giggle slightly at Franziska's "threat", and ended up coughing slightly again. She stuck her head out of the window, letting the colder air reach her nostrals. Her breathing was finally normal again.
Maya closed her eyes to steady herself, hearing Apollo's concerns. She was about to answer when Franziska did for her. Instead of adding, she continued to put her head near the windowsill.
"Let's just hope... the fire alarms don't go off," Maya said, imagining the loud, obnoxious buzzer going off along with a rain of showers. "Then again, it might help the smell." She opened her eyes and turned to face Franziska and Apollo, continually turning around to the window again to breathe. Nick, you idiot! Since when have you given in to drugs!? Has it really been that bad since I left...? Maya found herself becoming angry. Thank goodness Pearly wasn't here... there's no way she could have withstood this!
"I suppose the question is: now what? I'm thinking of walking to Dunkin' Donuts until the working environment is clear. Who's with me?"

"What moment? You mean when you first smelled that odor?" Maya questioned. She also saw how red his wrist was. "Something wrong with your wrist?" she asked kindly Maya realized that she was asking a lot of questions, but she always was the curious one. She leaned her head back into the window to get another gulp of fresh air. Better than burgers... she thought.

"We can go for coffee, as originally planned, without the two smokers." She paused, looking at her documents. Her eyes then darted around and looking down the corridor found what she was hoping to find. "But first let me get rid of these documents." Looking at Maya she worried that the girl was still going to pass out. "Here," she said, pushing her coiled up whip into Apollo's hands, "hold on to this for a minute."
As soon as the whip was out of her hands she started to fumble around in her skirt pockets, looking for a specific object. I know I brought it here so- aha! Her hand lifted out of her pocket, now holding a silver lighter.

Coffee sounds wonderful... even thought I don't drink it Maya thought. She knew anything was better than the stench in the office. Maya was rather surprised that Franziska would let a newbie like Apollo be able to hold such a cherished object such as her whip. Wow, Franziska really is being nicer today...

"As for the case I am planning with my little brother it has nothing to do with these files. These were police documents that Kristoph Gavin could have signed. It was for a homicide case that will be going to trial tomorrow. Although with his little fun I doubt he will sign this within the three hour deadline."
She started to venture away from the window, the smell of weed lightly surrounding her. Water should neutralize the smell, she thought, looking for a waste bucket that she could burn the files in. Either the weed smoke or the burning document smoke would trigger the alarms, but she could hope that neither would occur. Or at least she would escape with the two kids before the water sprinklers went off.

Master of the Kurain... Maya decided not to tread on that subject. It brought too many memories from those last sevent years that she hoped to supress by coming back here.
"Franziska, you could maybe use the water fountain there," Maya said. She was rather glad to have full control of her breathing again. But that was also partly due to the fact that more than half of her face was out the window.

Klavier left, making sure the windows he passed was wide open before coming near the area that was strong with foul fumes. He looked inside to see that signature jacket, still in the room. In your own office? Krissi! You dumbass! He thought, slightly coughing and waving away the smoke. He couldn't afford to be effected by the drug, his brothers life was on the line.
He opened the window in the stylish room, snatched the jacket and headed to the nearest exit. Unfortunately, his luck ran out as he ran to where Apollo, Franziska, and Maya was standing, holding the jacket in his arms...

A devious smirk traced her lips from Maya's suggestion of using a water fountain. "While the idea of taking a waste bucket full of water and chucking its contents at Kristoph Gavin and Phoenix Wright sounds perfectly delightful as an idea it would be much faster to attempt my way."
Of course thats when she bumped into the younger brother of the Gavin family. People love bumping into me today, do they not? "Well if it isn't the pin. How is your brother and Phoenix Wright enjoying their illegal drugs? Last time I saw them they seemed more than happy." Needless to say holding onto that jacket like his life depended on it wasn't helping her assumptions.
"Lets play a game. Little brother calls it 'Twenty Questions'," she paused, tapping her boot impatiently. "Question 1: Why shouldn't I report Phoenix Wright to the police and Kristoph Gavin to the police and bar association?" Not that she was planning to do such but she just wanted to see how the little brother reacted under pressure.

Besides, this post will be short))Maya chuckled at the prospect of having a bucket of water being poured down onto Nick's head. She would absolutely be all for that if there wasn't the problem of not passing out before reaching his smoke-laden office.
She saw the smokey jacket that belonged to Kristoph that was held onto by his younger brother. The sudden stench was enough to make Maya choke again and she found herself leaning almost fully out of the window. I hope he doesn't bring that jacket any closer... or I'm finsihed!

Klavier could feel his blood pressure raising at the sight of Franziska von Karma, staring him down. Wait, did she just ask how those two were enjoying the drug? She actually saw them doing it? Shit, she's a witness. Not something I expected... He opened his mouth to oppose her words, but his fear of incriminating his only brother was showing. No words came out...
She's playing a game? Now? He thought, aggravated that a woman could stop him from saying anything. She could get his brother in some deep trouble, and he couldn't do anything about it. "Look, it was a simple mistake. Life isn't perfect, Fraulein. Just let them go, I'm already planning something about this." He said, trying not to bow down to her heel. She's the kind of woman that wouldn't do anything for favors, and he certainly didn't want to go so low as to doing any favors for her if he didn't have to.
He turned to Apollo, not looking as happy as before. "Like I'd try that, I'm planning on airing it out, as this smell definitely doesn't need to be in the office any longer. It's a toxic danger to anyone." He said, hoping the day couldn't get any worse.

"Question 2: Would you like me to help you dispose that jacket and erase evidence at the very same moment? A simple yes or no will do." She paused, her lips pursing as she looked at Maya who was sticking her head out the window again. "Maya Fey is allergic to the chemicals. They seem to trigger an asthma attack when near her. So unless we get rid of the evidence in a very hasty matter then despite my warnings I will call the ambulance and I'm sure you know how procedures go."
She looked at the jacket in disdain. "They will question the caller on the events. The caller has to tell the truth to them so they can help her to the fullest extent and I won't hesitate to tell them of the marijuana smoked here."
Honestly she didn't want to do this. From their earlier interactions the Gavin brothers were extremely close to each other. There wasn't much doubt in her mind that Klavier knew about his brother's habits and that the young prosecutor might have done the drug himself a few times.

"Well," Franziska mused, tapping her silver lighter. "My idea is pretty simple. We need to take out the chemicals from the air. The chemicals are spread from the lighting of the weed being smoked so the task isn't too complex. Spray a little water around the fire and not only will it go out but the chemicals in the stench will neutralize." She paused musingly. "Unless you can convince Phoenix Wright and Kristoph Gavin to stop smoking. Even then though we'll need some form of spray to at least mask some of the chemicals."
"As for the jacket- I can burn it with these documents. They're of no use to me. Just take out any joints that may be inside before I burn it. And don't worry about the jacket itself. I can pay for another one easily." Although where she would burn it was the question. Perhaps when they managed to get out behind in a garbage can or something.

Klavier nodded in agreement, although some of the stench would still be left on fabrics, such as chairs and their own clothing. This predicament was getting worse and worse by the second, but there was a problem. His clothing was tainted with the smell. If he took a foot outside, he'd definitely draw a crowd due to his popularity.
"Ja, unfortunately, I can't come outside unless I had some sort of security, due to the fans hiding in the shadows. I don't think we need a crowd anywhere near anyone here, due to our clothing still having traces of smoke on them."

Maya was relieved that Klavier agreed with letting the coat be burned; at least that solved that issue. But there was also the issue of Klavier's popularity...
Maya realized the benefit of leaving her head stuck out of the window.
"Hey, Franziska, I see a garbage dump to the left of the building," Maya chirped. "And better yet, it's hidden from view! I don't know how ninja-like Klavier's fans are, but if they're anything like the Jammin' Ninja, then we have nothing to worry about!" The faster the coat's gone, the better

I already tried talking to them but Mr. Kristoph Gavin has made it clear I was a 'whip bitch'. Klavier shrugged off her cocky attitude, and nodded at her comment about the fans. He saw Apollo raise up to say something about the matter, and gestured him to stop right where he was. He sighed, knowing what could happen would definitely hurt him.
"Ja, I'll go reason with them, or at least... try to." He said, slightly muttering the last part of that sentence. Kristoph and Phoenix started it, and knowing how easily Kristoph accepted the stuff, he might have gotten dragged into it too. Klavier didn't want to admit the fact that they might pull a fast one on him. It would be better if he had Apollo for backup, but he couldn't afford to trade in a friend's heath for protection.

He turned back to Klavier. "Klavi, I may be....less than responsible sometimes, but I was just trying to blow off some steam. I don't lie to you about stuff like this. Hell, you'd be crazy if you had to deal with people like that." Kristoph said tartly as he gestured to Franziska. As he turned to leave, he felt Klavi. He pivoted and took one of Klavi's hands.
"You know...I haven't seen much of you lately. Wanna tag along with me and Phoenix?" He asked, smiling.

Franziska scowled at Kristoph, and his gesture towards her. "I thank you for your compliments and I dearly apologize, truly, for acting fifteen years ahead of my age. How careless of me- I'm 27. I should be partying out all day and night before I turn 30 and get crowfeet."
She shook her head at the lawyer. "I have no time to argue with you. Do whatever you want, Kristoph Gavin. If it weren't for the plain fact that you are actually needed by someone who cares so much about you they are willing to risk so much then believe me I would make your head spin faster then the chemicals in that weed ever could."
"Oh and by the way-" she started, pointing to the blue jacket Klavier was holding "-take that with you. It is making Maya Fey very sick and I rather not call an ambulance."
She was truly exhausted. All she ever planned to do was deliver documents but instead she ended up babysitting two grown men and three kids.

Klavier tried to avoid eye contact, but it was painful. He looked up, with a smile on his face and poked Kristoph on the forehead. "Hope it taught you a lesson, bruder." He said, hiding his true feelings about the subject.

Shrugging she threw the documents she had been holding onto in the waste basket and continued down towards the kitchen area. The maker they bought look nice. And to think my money bought something for that foolish defense attorney. Sighing, feeling a bit too lazy to take it all the way back to her home, she started to filter in the coffee beans. Coffee was a thing long overdue for her.
