I think I'm ready to RP date... I don't want to get into marriage again yet, but I need to keep moving forward for my family.

Just be warned... your Don will be high maintenance, he enjoys spending time with people outside of CR (like in IMs, on MR, Youtube I guess, etc). He also tends to show allot of affection so be ready for that.
All he asks in return is that he is loved. ^_^

But I do agree with Nickie, less pauses, they really add this level of awkwardness to the video that I'm sure isn't normally present when speaking with you in person. Not Scripted necessarily, but like maybe a bullet system of what you need to hit when you're speaking, so that way you know what you need to talk about, less time spent thinking is always better.
The "Ums..." And "Ah..."s are part of you probably, so I won't critique the number of those as much as some people, but I know they would have been all "NOOOOOOOOES!!! THAT SUKS!!!! NO UM AH ER... Y'ALL SUK!!!"
Something like that anyways. (I have a ton of people who tell me I say Um all the time in Day to day conversation and it drives them up the wall...)[/talking about Don's videos in the Family Tree thread]

My understanding of Godparents is this...
They are people who are chosen as "second parents" by the real parents shortly after a child's birth.
They just aid the real parents as if the child was their own.
I have no objection to them, but I won't be including Godparent lines in tree updates. (The thing is chaotic enough as it is.)
So this would be something individual families would keep track of.
I'd prefer that marriages be complete before adopting.
And Bruce, you were never on this tree to begin with... So there's really nothing to pull from unless this is you telling hordes of fangirls that we don't know about to leave you alone.

RPing is good when you have lots of time to spend investing in a story that is being written at the moment it's happening.
It's like life, it happens in "real time". (Obviously with some lose interpretation of "real time".)
Some people have jobs that prevent them from being able to invest time in other things, I can't go see a movie when I'm supposed to be at work for example.
In a way I feel like I'm the crazy (widow) uncle that comes to visit from time to time. ^_^
And I have a child who is 10(ish) years older than me. It's no big deal! XD
And (on a personal note) I think I'm ready to accept my singleness on the tree...
