...if you live in the US and own a Wii or PS3 (or UK/PS3). Otherwise, you'll have no excuse not to buy it as soon as it comes out for your platform/country.
To tell the bitter truth, I never really played Mega Man. Only now, after getting Mega Man 9, I have gone back to the first two and played those. So this is my perspective of a person fresh to the series.
GAMEPLAY:
Simple but refined to the point of perfection... I was a bit thrown off by the lack of acceleration in his running as I'm accustomed to in Mario titles, but I soon got used to it. The steal items from bosses bit is ingenious... although I eventually had to look up the boss order online. Because this ****** is HARD. (I went back and played Mega Man 2 recently on VC... I'm gonna say it's even harder than that.) You'll die a million billion times if you don't know the order. But... I had a blast the whole time somehow. I'm not really a fan of blisteringly difficult games that challenge your reflexes and pattern memorization skills- I usually like games that challenge the mind more- but man this is amazing good. It's the only "hard" game (aside from Mega Man and MM2) that I've ever really enjoyed to the point of me giving it a huge recommendation like this.
PRESENTATION:
Genius. Possibly my only issue is the intro... it goes by REALLY SLOW. Other than that, it's amazing perfect. Your menu is simple, options are limited (although turn off legacy mode unless you LIKE sprite flickering). It pretty much cribs it all from Mega Man 2, but there are actually a few things from newer games in it, like the addition of Rush, the shop, a bare-bones story, and stuff like that. Also, there is a brand new feature - a built-in Achievements feature (called Challenges) that'll keep you playing for a long time. Oh yeah, and the music. It's incredible. Some of the best 8-bit music I've ever heard... of course, second only to Mega Man 2.

Buy it you jerks. NOW.
Wow... I didn't actually intend for this to be a "review", but I supposed it came out that way. Ah well.... discuss this.

I completed only 4 stages yet, and I already played it more than in what time I beat Mega Man 1 and 2.

Galaxy Man was a piece of cake, but the others...not so much. The only other boss I can even REACH is Plug Man, and he just stomps me into the ground.

Unfortunately I used up all the money in my PS Wallet, and I promised myself I wouldn't put any more in it for the rest of 2008. So I gotta wait for Janurary. You'll probably all have beaten it by then XD

Eeeeh? I was told that the Wii got it on the 25th, the 360 was originally getting it on the 27th (But now delayed since it comes out tomorrow), and the PS3 was not getting it.

Remember also that hornets can retrieve any power-ups and stuff lying on the screen, even in unreachable positions.

I think you can go for about 1 to 2 days without burgers and coffee.
Right now I'm trying to decide which version to get. I prefer Nintendo over Sony and if there multi-platform games I go for Nintendo but I hardly have any games for the PS3.

It's already out on all consoles, and it's supposed to have those old graphics. It's an entirely new game.
