Angle 1 shows the closeups of the performers, while Angle 2 shows a direct feed of the video animations which were being projected above on the big screen!
It's a nice touch, as some of those videos were custom made for the concert and not seen elsewhere.
I uploaded a video of Angle 2 ripped from the DVD during the GS 3 Ending Song, where lots of the characters make their apperance and comments.

On the DVD there's about 20 minutes of spoken dialog between Edgeworth/Phoenix/Judge going back and forth, and those custom animations are shown BETWEEN the songs.
