Yeah, the whole situation got so ridiculous, and now LJ's kinda unstable. Well, at least for me it is. >.>; Can't post more than one paragraph...it's an odd problem, but several people besides me have it. *shrug* I'll stick to DJ while LJ gets back to normal.

No, what happened was LJ received complaints from a group called 'Warriors For Innocence' who claimed to be an online pedophile hunting group, like Perverted Justice. Turned out that WfI are actually a group of white-supremacist super christian rednecks. Anyway, LJ's response to these complaints was to basically search out all 'interests' that would be considered illegal--lolicon, shota, incest, etc. and then ban all of those said journals and communities. The problem was, more than 3/4ths of the things closed were fandom and fanfic journals, and two of the closed groups were Rape and Incest survivor journals. After the impending shitstorm brought on by the entire rabid fangirl army of the internet, LJ restored the journals that were wrongly deleted (and the fangirls still aren't happy, because no one loves them in their special places.), so now you can resume reading all of the harry potter rape fics you want!

Ahh, I see. Well, I was kinda close, right? The LJ fangirl army is indeed a force to be reckoned with.
That reminds me, later that day, my friend and I were joking how they needed to assemble the Nine Fanbrat Lords and convene the Fandom court to decide how to proceed.
