I....I thought I was better than this. "I don't need a PSP" I told myself. "It's nothing but overdone fan service. Nothing good will come of it." Then....then I watched a video. "That was cool." I thought. "Maybe I should look up one with Zidane..." And I kept going. And going. And going. Until I had watched every fight imaginable. IT GAVE ME THE HUGEST FANBOY BONER I HAVE EVER HAD.
Kefka VS Zidane? Tidus whooping on Cloud? These are things that I never thought would happen. And the more I thought about it, the more I wanted it. The more I wanted to try it. Now, here I am, deciding whether or not I should buy a handheld for the sole purpose of playing a shitty "fighting game".

I just saw a vid with a match between Cloud and Tidus, and I've got to say, it looked awesome
And, (from what I saw) the matches are fast, but not "10 seconds fast", and faster then SSBB matches. :D

Well...no. BUT an official press release from Square-Enix states that it will be coming out for an......Mid-2009 release.......whoops.

Anyway, I wasn't really interested in Dissidia until Zidane showed up, and even more so with the addition of Gabranth, so I'll probably pick it up. I hope it does well if only so that they do another one this time for a console with a broader cast list. As much as I like their Heroes vs Villains setup, I would have loved to see characters like Sabin, Vivi, and Fran.

Judging from the reviews I've read, this game is far from "shitty".
I shall be getting this once it comes out in America.

I am 90% sure there's going to be a sequel (not based on facts, just instinct, XD)
But, personally, they'll probably choose characters that were in the "middle" I.E Kain, Seifer, etc.

Anyways, I played the Japanese version and I think it's very addictive--like SSBB. XDDDD. Cant wait for the english one!
