Poll Continuation: How did you first get into PW:AA?

I had heard in some reports from E3 about a DS game that would not have action sequences at all, but be a logic game. I didn't think much of it then. About three years ago I was on vacation in San Antonio, Texas and I was browsing the GameStop in the local mall. I was looking for good DS games, so I went over to the DS games shelf. The only interesting games I could see were Viewtiful Joe and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, so I picked them both up. After trying them both out, I ended up playing Ace Attorney during the whole trip. I always laughed whenever I objected, presented evidence, and proceeded to blow the opposition's case out of the water. So after completing the game, I ran around school objecting to everyone whenever they produced contradictions. It was quite annoying. But yeah, this game has basically impacted my philosophy in some great ways.

I read a review on a certain game magazine :/
I thought, "Phoenix Wright? Weird name." and when I saw the sprites of Nick, I was like: "WHat's with this guy??? Weird hair!!", and when I heard it's about lawyer and court, I was like: "Lawyer? WHat's that...?" <--- forgive me, I was just an 11 year old brat when I read that review XD
Since the only DS game review I read that time was Phoenix Wright , I bought it along with my DS. :/
Oh, I played the game the whole time, and I really like to object and move my head like Kirihito, and doing this --> :think:

and clapping my hands like Gant.. and some other few things :yogi:

I'd been thinking of getting it for a while, and when I noticed a copy for £20 in a GameStation shop that I didn't know existed, I decided to take the plunge. Buying it around exam time probably wasn't the smartest thing to do but it was worth every penny. Then before I went away for a few days, I bought the second and played it the entire holiday.

I think the first time I heard of it was a gameing site somewhere about new things comeing out and thought I looked intersting but since I didnt have a DS yet didnt think much about it. Latter on once I ot one, I asked around for good games for it and just about everybody said I needed to get the Phoenix Wright games.

It was kinda dumb luck I latter found JFA and Hotel Dusk in the local shop that useuly has nothing new. :edgy:

Because of the Objection generator site - I saw the game in the stores after, had read the reviews, and thought "Why not?".

I was obsessed with replying to everything on a forum with Objections. My friend didn't like the game much (why, oh why...), so he sold it to me for a fiver (GOLDEN OPPORTUNITIEZ lol), and the rest is history :karma:

. History would be, staying up until 3:00AM the day before an exam. Uhuh. :P

I heard about it from a mod in a forum I used to go to around a year ago.

I saw an ad for the Japanese version, a.k.a. Yomigaeru Gyakuten, and thought it was interesting. I ended up buying the Japanese version, and then the English one. Needless to say, I became a fan.

Ok in Ireland, there's this gamemag thats written in Britain called Gamesmaster. I saw a preview for two odd games called Trauma Center and Phoenix Wright. Initally more interested in Trauma Center I saved up for a ds lite...but when I realised that Trauma Center wasn't in the package deal, and Phoenix Wright was...I bought it and the rest is history. I later bought Trauma Center and didn't enjoy it as much as I did with Phoenix Wright!
