Edgey remembered the whole thing, but he didn't understand what had happened; he had said "at the time, i thought he had shot himself". perfectly reasonable, considering the circumstances. i think you'd be pretty damn confused in his shoes.

Well. yeah... but they never mentioned the initial trial system in 3-4. Now, if that trial ended after 3 days, then it would be a contradiction.

I just replayed the case and this left me confused. What was Gant's reason to kill Neil? It was never really explained, they just kind of jumped over it. Well, Gant was already becoming Chief of Police, so that was not really his reason to do this. The SL-9 Incident only sped up this process, but he was gonna be Chief of Police anyway.
