What would happen to someone should they accidently report a post? (I haven't ever hit it before so I don't know if you have to select what you are reporting, or if you would have to leave a comment...)

You would have to complete the report post form for it to go through, so you could never really accidentally report something unless you just blindly click through things.

Sorry, if someone already asked this but what does it mean to have a topic bumped? And why are posts on anything related to Berry Big Circus not counted towards ranking points? (Well, that's what other people are saying...)

Berry Big Circus was a spam area on this board. It doesn't exist anymore, but it doesn't have anything to do with the discussions about the circus.
And "bumping" means that the last post in a topic becomes recent again, so the topic can show up on the top of a subforum.

Can anyone please explain to me in full detail what a wrench-man and a Special Rights is?

Luke, our "wrench-man" helps out around the site with coding and technical problems. It's different from an admin in that he doesn't go around policing users and posts. The special rights groups are members of the scanalation and radio teams, and they have a private forum to discuss certain projects.

I am only going to take a wild guess. But maybe your warning level will go away after a certain amount of time?

Most warnings don't last forever I believe. If after a certain amount of time you've not caused any trouble, then I am guessing that it'll go back down to zero after a certain amount of days.

Feel free to prove me wrong if I didn't get it right. But this is what I think :doodle:.

A warning level I believe it something you are given if you break the rules?

Think of it as an infraction. With the amount of warnings you are given - then you have a high chance on being banned for a certain amount of days/weeks (or possibly it being pernamently).

If I also recall correctly - a warning level will also decrease after a certain amount of days (that's if you don't break anymore rules). After those amount of days are over, then your warning level goes back down to zero.

If I am wrong - someone feel free to correct me :)

I guessed as much, but it's been a while. I figured i'd check.

And yeah, I got my warning level a little while back, when someone on the "How are you feeling" thread began saying something suicidal and emo, and I responded with something to the effect of "Bawwww, diddums". A bit silly, in hindsight. Oh well.

The mods don't usually pay attention to warning level when it comes to punishing members, FYI.

The ban requested was a temporary one, not a permanent ban. So, Ryu shouldn't be permanently banned.

Anyway, if Ryu still can't access the account, how Ryu could read PMs and resume the Present Evidence section thing been worked on since 2007?

They are the ones used by search sites like Google or Yahoo Search.

These bots help sites to have updated info on the search sites so that people can find websites easier when they look for keywords that are related to the websites being searched upon (keywords example: court records forum phoenix wright gyakuten saiban kenji etc)

Because sometimes a bad or played-out topic does us a favor by slipping off the first couple pages, thus disappearing into obscurity. But then someone comes along and revives it for no good reason, and a mod is reminded that it doesn't really need to exist, thus lockage.

No, nobody liked him and he was a nuisance. I was egging Tinker on to ban him a long time ago (eventually did happen although I don't know who or what did it) and we were both surprised when he came back, since we were under the impression that it was a permaban.

3 Questions

Uno Question, shouldn't there be an age limit on the people who join here? I mean. Phoenix Wright is typically a teen to adult game and not to mention the fact that there is a lot of little things here and there on the site that are age appropriate 13+

There are lots of fanfics that are only meant for +13 not necessarily sex or swears but general stuff too! Along with Hentai, Yaoi and Yuri that people have as even their signatures or their avatars

Dos Question(this is gonna sound lame... :o )What is hotlinking? it says something about it in the Rules thread but its locked

Tres Question How do you (croik) choose moderators/admins ect. ect. ect. because I've seen some Mods like Pazu with 28 posts.

Well for your question on age limit,
age limits of Phoenix Wright vary from country to country.
For example, in England, AA was 7+ but the others were 12+.
In Amereica it's just rated T.
Also, you get pervy 3 year olds who want to watch yaoi (maybe).
And, on the internet, everyone lies about their age all the time.

Your seconde question.
Hotlinking I think means just putting the link of the actual thing e.g.
http://www.court-records.net/animation/aa-grossberg.htm

No idea about the last question. I guess he just picks everyone who does good for the forum, report people where necessary and doesn't mess around.
What you should do is:
http://www.court-records.net/sprites1.htm

Hotlink isn't putting the url of a picture in. It's using the picture in an image tag.

Basically, if you upload a picture to photobucket, you have to hotlink it (like put it in an image tag) from photobucket, else the picture will just sit there and you can't use it as a sig unless you hotlink it.

Basically, you aren't allowed to hotlink the sprites from Court-Records.net directly - No around the direct links to the ripped sprites. It's okay if you upload them to Photobucket first.

And Croik hates them for being image spam.
