1) to get such a precise release date so early is a bit fishy... don't you think ?
2) Capcom did release after E3 a list with release dates for its games, and it was clearly written the game would only be released in January... what's more both Gamestop and Play-Asia have January 2010 as a release date. It would be very unlikely the game was released 'in advance'.
3) They didn't show the game at E3 because of the localisation (not localised enough, it seemed), so I don't think they'll have the game ready by November this year...
No matter how much I'd like to have this game, I think this release date, coming out the blue, is quite fishy... Maybe they'll tell us more at Comic-con.

1) Think "Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box". First gameplay trailer at E3 (June), release date: August 24, 2009. That's two months and a half. In AAI's case, the first trailer came out by April 28th, and, if the game where to be released by mid-November, it would be 7 months. I don't think it's early at all.
2) It wasn't really clear. Just January 2010. If they had a day, I would believe it. Talking about this, where did the January 26, 2010 release date come from? I don't know where I read it, but I think I read it here in CR.
3) They didn't have a demo, but they did have a gameplay video. You can find it in this thread.
Also, according to this thread, there will be playable code (a demo) of AAI at Comic-con:
That sounds convincing enough for me, but I'm still hoping for an official announcement confirming November.

Also, it's funny how AAI is one of the few big titles with definite release dates, when we had this release date fuzzle.

That was probably an old news report. Release dates get pushed back all the time for numerous reasons.

HERE: Capcom released a press release, which wasn't even featured in major sites, stating "January 2010" as a release date.
They needed to push it back.
Evidence? Kotaku. 1up. Joystiq. Even Nintendo. They all say the same: Febraury 2010.
