I think Jacques is probably quite a bad choice, as although there is an S on the end, it's silent, and it's pronounced like "Jack", defeating the Sportsman Joke somewhat >_>

When I pronounce it, it actually sounds like "JacksPortsman", all together. I kinda hear it as "Jack Sportsman", but not that much.
I always pronounced "Jacques" like "Jacks", not "Jack".

Now let's hope he doesn't have a French accent from time to time. That would bring back back memories ( :flowsers: )

Hrm... when I pronounce it, it sounds more like "JockSportsman." Which is probably what they're intending with the pun. :3 Since the proper pronunciation for "Jacques" is closer to "Jock" than "Jack."
Thanks to .•°٭blinq٭°•. for the lovely sig. ♥

Y'know, that does make more sense crout. He does act like quite a jock, doesn't he? Also it ends in S, so that's two birds with one stone. :D
