I'm a bit curious as to what it's for though. I'm guessing it'll probably unlock a house or rather like in the last game...but I can't help hoping that it'll give me magical tea to scope out hint coins.

The other day I read an article about it. You want your hamster to get into it's house, but he'll only get there if it's within 3 spaces of him, or something. And if there's a nearby apple, he'll go to that instead. What you're trying to do, is to get the hamster to move as far as possible and still go to his house...uh... yeah. Interesting to see how this will work out. Of course, that may only be one of the tasks for the hamster. So yeah, Regy Rusty's right...

What we do know is he can handle himself pretty well with a rapier, as seen in the trailer. Where and when did Layton take fencning lessons though?
