Nicely said.

I'm a bit curious as to what it's for though. I'm guessing it'll probably unlock a house or rather like in the last game...but I can't help hoping that it'll give me magical tea to scope out hint coins. :phoenix:

Yeah, last game had the dog, the inn, and the painting.

This one has a camera, tea brewing, and exercising an overweight hamster.

EDIT: It's just the trailer and three wallpapers, but I'm sure it'll be updated as time goes on.

Ooh, exercising an overweight hamster. That sounds just as relaxing as trying to figure out what stuff goes in which rooms in the Inn. (GOD that took me forever.)

I think supportsandships means it becomes possible to complete the dog at Chapter 8, because all the puzzles with parts of the dog will be available at that point, methinks.

It's a sidequest, so it's not completed as part of the story.

EDIT: Brace yourselves...

For another subbed trailer of Eternal Diva is out!

Yeah, that's what I meant.
And...SQUEEEEEE! Of course, according to the timeline we'll be having to wait a while...since the second game hasn't come out yet. (of course, it's only two and a half weeks in America until then! :D)

According to Nintendo Power it has to do with placing objects to make an exercise course for it.

Or something!

That wold be really crazy, but I think it would really be the kind of hilarious and weird challenge that they really want to let you do, since they don't want you to just keep on solving puzzles.

Yeah, I think that is what it is, I remember reading about it from a screenshot on Kotaku somewhere.
Also, IIRC, the hamster is a pet of Luke's. Apparently, he found it on the Molentary Express.

Lawl. So now our sidequest is to make an exercise course for an overweight hamster that randomly found it's way on the same train as the professor.

The other day I read an article about it. You want your hamster to get into it's house, but he'll only get there if it's within 3 spaces of him, or something. And if there's a nearby apple, he'll go to that instead. What you're trying to do, is to get the hamster to move as far as possible and still go to his house...uh... yeah. Interesting to see how this will work out. Of course, that may only be one of the tasks for the hamster. So yeah, Regy Rusty's right...

I think exercising the hamster is the new "arranging things for your room".
I loved how Professor Layton 1 gave you a "reason" to solve the puzzles
Spoiler:
To find a suitable guardian for the little girl
- I hope there's a similar kind of twist in Professor Layton 2.

Yeah, but I can't make any guesses about the Professor Layton 2 plot. I only saw the trailer, but I've been trying to stay spoilerless otherwise. So idk what's gonna happen.

Proffesor Layton Rocks! Can't wait for the Diabolical Box.

And the plot isn't just to solve a mystery in this game,

Spoiler:
Layton's trying to get to the bottom of the mysterious death of his mentor.

You know, my friend thought it took place in a haunted house, and she guessed that
Spoiler:
it would be something stupid about vampires, and I reassured her it wasn't. But then this came along....gosh.

Idk anymore. Someone was talking about him being one, so idk. Haha, he looks like a girl really. I wasn't sure if the picture I saw was him because it was so feminine...

What we do know is he can handle himself pretty well with a rapier, as seen in the trailer. Where and when did Layton take fencning lessons though?
