O_O That... was quite odd. And Mario sounded a lot like Fred Flintstone...

Ah, I just remembered another scarring incident from school. I worked as a student mentor for about 2 years. Basically, my job was to help new freshmen adjust to the college and to help lead orientation festivities. Well, I was given a group of kids to look after, and so were a few other mentors. We started a small campfire in a parking lot and talked about random stuff, sang songs, etc. Two of the other mentors I was with are well known for streaking on campus. So they both got up, stripped, and danced around the fire. The freshmen thought it was funny, so a bunch of them decided to get naked and do it too. I just watched from the sidelines and made sure nothing got out of hand. I was quite disturbed (I'm actually surprised that nobody's complained about it, this isn't the first year it's happened. I personally don't think it was a very good idea, but if none of the kids complain, I can't really do much about it.)

One of the mentors had his 21st birthday party in the campus center this year, and I was told that it was filled to the brim with naked people. Which is exactly why I didn't go to the party. Do you know how awkward it is to go to a nudist party and be the only one wearing clothes? Everyone thinks you're a pervert! Sigh...

Oh, it did indeed happen. And ironically enough, I made a break for my dorm a few minutes after. Which reminds me of what else happened that night:

I stayed in bed and played Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsurugi on my laptop, trying to get the image of naked people out of my brain. Suddenly, at 1:30 AM, my door opens (the ONE TIME I forget to lock my door, I'm usually very anal about that.) A very drunk freshman (fully clothed, thank god) stumbles into my room. She introduces herself, I introduce myself, I ask if she's okay, she leaves. I go back to playing FE, I hear her stumbling around outside my door. I get up to see if everything's all right and she barges in again. She introduces herself twice more, I ask her where she lives, and I walk her home (thank god her dorm was in reasonable walking distance of mine.)

What was awkward was that she had no memory of the event OR of me the next day. I actually have a nice little friendship with her now, and I'm wondering if I should tell her about it XD I make sure my door is locked every night now, hehe...

DUN DUN DUN!!!!

Also I have one not from my experience.

There used to be a girl in my school and she went with her friends on a sort of school trip.
Anyway while she was there she got drunk and she recorded herself masturbating with a toothbrush.
The video somehow found it's way on to the internet and soon everyone in school knew ALL about it.
She didnt come back for at least three months and when she did there were thes really big awkward silences wherever she went.
So before assembly one morning she was surrounded by all the students (she was seriously close to tears now)
Then someone shouted out "ASK HER IF SHE FLOSSES!" everyone laughed and that was the last time anyone ever seen her again.

The people running the site are, as far as I can tell, but some of the art that's sent in is clearly not intended to be serious (such as Lobster Buddy and the Goatse parody). Apparently they still managed to fall for it.

I hate to admit this, but my mind conforms to racial stereotypes and appearances... :sadshoe:

Even though I am asian myself, everytime we go to the grocery stores, I keep getting lost because I follow people who look like my mom or sisters...one time at Lucky's a girl who I thought was my sister kicked me in the crotch because I wanted to tell my sister to get the Cumin for my dad's cooking...

The same goes for African-American people too...I still think Obama looks just like this guy on MTV I saw once...

EDIT: It was the Allstate guy...

Even white people are not immune to my unintentional bigotry, people give me icy glares when I can't tell the difference between Brad Pitt and Matt Damon...Or Hannah Montana and that one lady on the most recent season of "the next food network star"...Some people stand out enough not to be confused with someone else but most people do not...

And one time I even thought my Indian friend's grandmother was Gandhi...

Just shoot me... :gun:

It's okay. I once followed a girl in a store because I thought that she was my mom. She was probably 20 years younger, and my mom had just died her hair darker, the girl had her old hair color. And the girl was pale. LOL I just fail.

And once when I was little, I got cursed out in the mall when I went up to some lady that looked like my mom and hugged her. (it's not my fault that a lot of people have dead hair from being died so much!)

Then, plus, my Step dad's older brother looks a lot like him. My dad's twin brother looks nothing like him, but his older brother does. So I usually run to him, and then I'm like O.o "Sorry"

I actually have one of those.

See, when I was 14, I carved a heart into my leg in a show of solidarity with a friend (who is now an ex-friend). I was young and stupid, you see. And I still have the scar. Here's a pic:

Oh, don't get me wrong. It's not the result that bothers me. I think the pink that comes out sometimes is pretty. It's the process that sets me off. Maybe it's because I'm a self-injurer (I had a relapse a few days ago about about a year and a half-to-two years of being "clean") and when I see it, the process, I freak out because, though not to that extreme, it's what I used to do to my body. Either that or I get... urges to do it again. And I don't want to do it again. I know it's kind of weird... doesn't stop me from wanting some ink though.

And yes, I'm completely prepared for the "emo" attacks. Bring it.

Bring it.

Ahh, gotcha.

And it's okay--I'm not gonna judge you. :)

Awkward/Weird? Yes. Very.

My dad was getting the air out of one of those blow up mattresses in the spare room. My mom and I went in to see how he was doing, and he was lying on the thing (you get the rest of it :beef: ). When he saw us, he had a sort of guilty look... 'You've caught me doing worse things than this' quote from Iron Man would've been quite fitting...

Weird. Very, very weird.

don't worry, i dont judge emo people like that. and its entirely possible that you're not even emo. i honestly detest the emo=cutter stereotype, and such, because i am close with several emo people, and am sort of in the process of transferring over into a more emo/indie/scene-like personality and fashion. because i want to, i might add.

A beaten up brass ring. Didn't seem very unusual at first, but after I cleaned it up and polished it. I could read a name that was engraved on it...
The name?
"Sean"

That...doesn't seem too odd.

What is odd is that you picked up the ring and cleaned up an old piece of junk unless it's some professional obligation requires you too.

You thought you could be safe in your courts, with your laws and attorneys to protect you. In this world only I am law, my word is fact, my power is absolute.

I think it's significant because his name is Sean as well.
Nothing.
