Oh and just to suggest an idea....
They need to use the Percieve more often I feel, out of court should add a lot more...same with the forensics....though if by cutting the forensics out they cut Ema Skye out of the picture completely I'd totally approve of a no-forensics game.

They can go cry in a corner, besides Nick had a canon lovelife, it was just brought in too late to be utilised well.
The writers didn't hint anything they gave us an answer but seeing as shes not there in AJ1 I'm guessing Iris didn't work out or something....probably reminded Nick of Dahlia too much.
Either way I'm fine with them not even being paired at all, like it was for most of Phoenix's saga. I don't turn to AA for a love story, I turn to it for a fine exciting game.

Thats true Edgeworth used it fine....Icer is known for wanting to have the Fey's back maybe she is just being wishful but....
I imagine newcomers to Apollo's story would be WTF? The Magatama wasn't really explained in 4-4 either, only vaguely and some new fans may have been confused.

Interviewing people in the investigation phase made it harder, you weren't always sure if you had the right evidence and stuff. That would be cool.

But my general idea of the game is that all the cases are tied together, and one by one you discover different facts of a case that's revealed in the final case.
Or maybe the game goes backwards. O____O
The last case is the very beginning of the whole plot, where everything is revealed!

How about a murder in the prison? You can have lots of cameos that way. The defendant is an accomplice in a previous case, or maybe Diego Armando, somebody who would have been released soon.
Bring back Franziska as a prosecutor, get her connected somehow with Klavier.
Edgeworth should have his LL.M--make him the new judge.

A De Killer comeback would be nice, but they'd have to make it someway different from what it was last time. I don't want just another rehash of 2-4. If they can find something interesting they could do with it then go ahead, but otherwise, it would be best just to let him go out with a bang. Earlier people had ideas how he could show up in GK and you have to "find his successor" in a large setting.

Ouch, bias against Trucy much? She's barely ever an aide in your idea and she makes much more sense as an aide than Maya who is completely irrelevant to the whole story... Also, making Justice the uncle of Pearl is a bad move, I think... her family's already complex enough as it is.
A lot of people are suggesting that Apollo's father comes back in. I wonder if GS5 will follow that...

Yeah, the characters were good in Phoenix's arc, but their story has been wrapped up enough and introducing anything new would be overkill. Unless the two of them just became witnesses or cameod but I doubt that. I don't want the GS series to just become fanservice.

5-4: Past case, Phoenix yet again. It's the same defendant as the first case in this game-the prosecutor is Lucian Justice (Apollos dad ) Maya Aide. When you win, the defendant seems unwilling to be not guilty.
5-5: Present case, playing as Apollo. The same defendant (AGAIN) as cases 1 and 4. Prosecutor Lucian Justice is the new prosecutor when our common one can't take the stand. The storyline falls into place here.
Lucian Justice is the uncle of the defendant, she was Pearl Fey. This makes Apollo and Pearl cousins (And Lucian a two-timer with Thalassa (Right?) and Morgan! ) . But Lucian was trying to get Pearl into prison and if she wasnt in prison: 'He would get her.'
Sucks, I know. I'll probably think A LOT more about the lkast case, just can't be bothered right now.,

I think having the same defendants at one game is quite boring. But I like your pattern of cases here, following the GS3 format.

I also like your idea of having different prosecutors for each case but don't you think it would be more interesting if there would be a more significant person in case 5 (and with that I don't mean either Edgeworth or Lana cause we've already seen enough of them)

Yeah its a bad idea. I would have trucy as an aide more (Don't get me wrong i like trucy) but when she's in prision she can't be your aide, and in the past cases she... well I guess she could but i wasn't really thinking it out properly. It was just an idea anyway, didn't mean to say i hate trucy, she's cool.

I think having Trucy as the defense aide more would be a better choice during the Apollo arc. If Maya were to be an aide once more, I think it would be a bad idea.
Yeah, sure it's f***ing cool to see the old gang back but the idea of Maya being an aide is one idea that is already three games old. Maybe it would be better for her to be an investigative partner instead of being a defense aide.

She's the master of the Kurain tradition she's got a lot more responsibilities now than when she was with Phoenix.
If Trucy has to be held in the detention center then it's not unfeasible for Apollo to get by on his own. After all he knows how to use his bracelet and when Maya was a suspect in 1-2 she wasn't able to be Phoenix's aid and he did fine right?

Now that you've mentioned about Maya being the Kurain master, I bet she could lend Apollo a magatama to help him in his investigation. I think the magatama would be better cause I can't really imagine the Perceive to be used outside the courtroom.

Nope for one thing SHE'S IN KURAIN! The story has no reason to go there. Besides Perceive could totally be used outside the courtroom?
What you think witnesses aren't pressured outside the courtroom? Phoenix did it all the time with his Magatama, Apollo can see what they are lieing about using Percieve.
Besides a simpler explanation would be to make Phoenix lend Apollo the magatama without veering the story off to Kurain
