It's the hair and the young-looking face. And possibly the rolled-up sleeves. And plus they both solve mysteries and stuff.

(from the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann... look it up on TV-Links) looks more like Larry, though.
I don't see the resemblance to Atmey.
And for some reason I think of Cody when I see Laharl
(from the Playstation game Disgaea... play it sometime).

They aren't Miis, but they are a similar create-a-character thing in MySims.

O_O I saw Count Olaf there and immediately thought of Gant because of the gray and white hair, and then I thought "Nah, he looks more like Manfred"... but now I can't help wondering if he had... another reason for trying to catch the kids (and he did try to marry Violet!)... O_o
