Well, these are my suckish sprites.

Waitress Maggey (blue) [Palette completely original]:

Ema (with earrings): [My first AA sprite edit that was animated!]

Iris recolour (originally supposed to be an older Pearl, but I couldn't get the hair bit sorted):

[ANCIENT SPRITE WARNING] Franziska von Karma grows her hair! (My FIRST AA sprite edit!):

Casual Trucy [done using LawfulMagician's base] [bad sprite]: Image

Yeah, I suck at this.

You don't suck!

These are actually pretty good. I like the Trucy sprite and Iris recolour sprite.

These are actually pretty good. Although they could use some bit of reworking, that's all.

The neck is too skinny near the top, anatomically they don't do that, this could very easily be rectified by taking the right side (his left) of his neck and moving the lines to fit the actual neck of the cravat, which will remove the wonky looking fit and make his head look more center.

Holy CRAP, that was fun. It involved: taking an early sketch of Dahlia Hawthorne, pulling it into GIMP, cartoonifying it with the cartoon filter, colouring it, sharpening it, shading it, shrinking it, sharpening it then I added some finishing touches (autocropping and shading) and VIOLA~!!!

What do you think?

Well.... it's cute, but it's really more of a small drawing than a sprite.

The oulines are messy and god knows how many colours it uses (says me haha). Also, never use filters when making sprites O_O

Tidy it up, use a LOT less colours and no filters and it'll be fab.

If you're making a sprite from scratch using a sketch, I'd suggest using this tutorial. The results won't be as 'clean' as Ace Attorney sprites, but... well... I'm lazy It's close enough to fool the audience. :keiko:

EDIT: And also, the author's grammar may not be perfect... but certainly legible enough.

I would LOVE to, but there's one massive problem:

I can't draw.

Oh, you don't need to draw. ;]
It's not like you have to draw the sketches yourself. You can easily steal borrow concept sketches to do it. :godot:

What Dypo said.

You can make it out of the Dahlia concept sketch that you colored if you want.

Your sprites are quite nice:maya:
