If anyone has looked at the Games forum recently, some of the case makers are nearing completion, and as you might expect, everyone will be wanting custom content for their cases.
This sort of brought up a thought to me. It might be nice to hear some cool music from outside of the Ace Attorney series, but what? A lot of great "boss" songs from other games are action-oriented, or wouldn't quite fit inside a courtroom. So, here post ideas for songs you could imagine being played at any sort of interval...
-Prosecution corners you with evidence
-Witness has heavy suspicion of being the murderer (like Cornered)
-The judge is about to declare his verdict
-Everyone is confused from a new revelation (a la "ARE...YOU...High! She was really high in the air!")
-Reminiscence (describing an old, but related case)
...you get the idea.
I'm putting up a few suggestions that I think kind of fit well. Tell me what you think.
Sam and MaxNot many extreme songs that could be used for Cornered here, but there are nice light, humorous sorts of songs that could easily be used for investigation, or a certain character's theme.
Metal Slug 4: Final AttackI always loved the Metal Slug series. I can think of some other songs that could be useful for certain courtroom moments, but this one struck me as a nice "cornered" theme; the bells layered on the other sounds made me think of justice and such.
Trilby's NotesWhile there are a few key songs from this I liked, I just uploaded the whole soundtrack since it's MIDI, and takes 2 seconds to download. Trilby's Notes is a text-adventure game from a series known as Chzo Mythos. You might know its creator...ever watched Zero Punctuation? Yup. Yahtzee himself has made a whole series of 4 adventure games, mostly based around the character "Trilby". Trilby's Notes, 3rd in the series, had its own custom soundtrack, and several tunes seem good for "reminiscence". Specifically, "Research", "Remember", and the main title.
Post any other songs you think might be interesting to hear in an AA case, and links if you have them.
I'm gone for so long, and the colors got all psychedelic! Woohoo!
