Was there a scene, plot or music... whatever in PW:AA that made you cry or almost did?

I never cry from watching movies or playing games personally, but there are times when I can feel my eyes begininng to swell.

Case 1-4 Spoilers:
Spoiler:
In the ending where Maya like left for the train, and then the credits. With the music sounding so... memoriable and calm, and with the cast saying they haven't seen Phoenix in awhile... it made my eyes swell. Everything blended in so well. Of course I knew about Case 5 long before the credits, but...... wow...

Also a few moments in Case 5 made my eyes swell. I think it was all of the sad memories.... and the music.

Yes, music plays a big role in the state of my eyes. :P

I don't think I've ever cried during the game...I guess the closest would be the end of 1-4, but I'm sure I didn't crack then at all.

I will, however, admit that I melted into a pile of happiness the first time I heard Pearl's theme. It was just too damn adorable. :nick:

I bawled like a baby during the beginning of Turnabout Sisters when Mia died, even though I already knew that was going to happen. It was late at night and I'm always more emotional when I'm tired, so that could be why...

... Or it could be that I'm just a big softie.

I get very emotional though. There are several scenes in PW that were just charged with emotion for me even with the lack of animation--the end of 1-4 and 1-5, and more than anything, 2-4. That was just the most heart-warming ending all around in anything I've ever played/read/watched *.*

I haven't cried, but there have been multiple occasions that had me swearing up a storm at my DS (1-4, 1-5 and 2-4 in particular.) I freely admit I get way too much into my gaming though, and perhaps empathize too much with the characters.

I lost a fair bit of sleep agonizing over 2-4, to be honest. I think that's my favorite case, if only for the rollercoaster ride and that delightful crisis of faith that case puts Phoenix through.

Me? Cry? Not even close.
However, the only cases that got me real interested were cases 1-4, 1-5 and 2-2. I felt that case 2-4 was ruined since Maya was a terrible character there, really.

Aah. I cry too much. u__u Mostly during films/games/books/manga... I cried like 3 times maybe, during PW. The first time in 1-2, when Mia died and Maya showed off, then in 2-2, during Mimi's breakdown and 4-2 of course.

It is rare that I cry playing video games. Some it does happen, but the storyline of PW:AA is not exactly tear-inducing.

Not actually cry, like sobbing, but on many occassions I've shed a tear or two. Or... okay, I really cried at the end of 1-4 (When I still was crazy 4 Edgey-boy~)

~List of moments I've shed a tear or two~
- The end of 1-5 (When I still liked the case >___<)
- Mimi's confession
- Acro's confession and pretty much everytime "Reminiscence~True Pain" was playing.
- Yogi's confession (Poor guy)
- Happy Adrian (Screw Maya-moments)

... So yeah. I do get emotional a bit. I like sad stories as long as they are well-written *snuggles One Piece*

I swear I'm gonna cry a lot while playing T&T... Heck I even cried while reading a certain T&T spoiler >___<

Teary eyed? Yes :)

Can't really remember about AA, but JFA had me feeling sorry for.....

Spoiler:

I felt sorry for a MURDERER!! O.o

There was quite a few bits that got to me :D
JFA more so than AA.

Well, I very rarely cry. But moments that brought me close to crying were:

- The "Bad Ending" of JFA
- The end of the 1-4, at the train station and when the other cast members are talking during the credits
- The "Good Ending" of 2-4
- The Nick card. When I saw that I thought it was one of the sweetest things throughout the whole game. And it was put right at the end of the game which made it even more memorable.

I always cry to much when enjoying games, novels, manga and lots of other stuff.
-At the end of Turnabout sister (the ghost pic was quite sad...)
-At the end of the game ( so sad maya!!)
-At the end of rise of the ashes
and hum, some other stuff of the first game I forgot surely^^""

I rarely ever cry with fiction. I can only remember three times when I've cried reading a book, once with a movie, and once with a TV show.

I didn't cry with PW, but I did roll around my bed in distress, because even though I don't cry I get REALLY emotionally connected. I'd say 1-4 and 2-4 were the stongest for me, then 1-2. The others not really that much.

Just to elaborate on my previous post....

The only case I've ever found to be emotional would be 3-5 (and perhaps 3-4). There wernt any real emotional moments in any cases in AA1, other than perhaps feeling sorry for Edgeworth (and Maya?), but I really didn't do that. In JFA, I found the personalities to be a joke, and couldn't take it seriously enough to be emotonally attached to any of the cases. I might even have gotten some teary eyes in the last case, once.

But I thought from the topic title that it was only the first game in question. :yuusaku:

I very rarely cry, especially at video games, but 3-4 and 3-5 hit a couple of my weak spots for massive damage.

Especially 3-5. I think I cried near constantly during the last two hours of I played. (My notes have huge gaps in them because I got so wrapped up in the game and couldn't even stop to write anything down)

Spoiler: AA and JFA
I found JFA (read: JFA case 4) more emotional than AA, and though I don't think I've actually cried, there have been some tearjerkery moments in both games thus far:

  • The end of 1-1. It was the first PW case I'd ever played and that sense of satisfaction, coupled with Won The Lawsuit was just great.
  • The Finale of 1-2, with Mia passing on ownership of the office to Nick and Maya. So sweet.
  • The finale of 1-4. Pooooor Edgey.
  • The finale of 1-5, with the runiting of the Skye sisters. Also, seeing Lana smile for the first time.
  • The finale of 2-2, where Maya hugs Mia. That was one of my FAVORITE bits of the game, actually. "That box you used to keep your clothes in..." D'aww.
  • Nick's "*grabs head* Oh thank goodness!" at the end of case 2-4.
  • The emo Game Over in 2-4
  • Adrian smiling at the end of 2-4
  • Fran crying at the end of 2-4
  • The Nick card in 2-4
  • ...Most of 2-4. I love that case. :3

beginning of 1-4 (NOOO EDGEY!)
End of 1-4 (train station)
All of 2-4

2-2. Ending. With the hug. And the box. I was all *tear*. Just one though.

The ending of 1-4, 1-5, and 2-4 also ALMOST got me. But I held strong and just did the "aww <3" rather than the teary eyed bit.

2-2's ending with the hug is so heart-warming that even I couldn't hold the tears in.

And 2-4's end is such a release, I couldn't help but get a little misty-eyed.

I actually did cry! A few times to be exact. First it was during Dee's little flashback moment between what happened in the past and what happened with Jack. Then it came with the picture of the reunited Skye sisters in 1-5 (I've been missing my sister a whole lot, so that scene really effects me, same as the Fey hug in 2-2).
