Well, yes, I have noted this as I have noted the Phoenix Light thing.

"Sincatarrín X"= "No more cold", lit. "Without cold X" (catarrín comes from "catarro", which means "(a) cold")
What I don't get is why, as in AJ, IV University changes to "Universidad de Harkely" (Harkely U.). If there is no pun, why change?

And, as always, there are no name changes in the Spanish version.

To the German Version: Godot does Phoenix call "breit" & "breit" could also mean something like fat As I played it I wasn't really sure whether he means Phoenix is drunken or fat... xD but both is possible Godot's voice sounds like an old man :D but payne's objection... *shudder* don't ask xD... oh and Dalhia's Nickname for Phoenix in the first case is Feenie

That "breit" means "broad", but also "stoned", was already mentioned before. Look at the first entry of the thread ^^
And since Phoenix is called Phoenix in every version of the game besides the Japanese one, he is also called Feenie in pretty much every version ^^

Godot's voice is okay in my opinion, but Payne sounds so awfully highpitched ... But it's pretty much the same in every version.

"IV University" is a pun referencing the "Ivy League" of universities in the USA, representing the most academically competent universities in the country. Beyond that, I wasn't sure what you were referring to.

-"Phoenix Trite" = "Phoenix Light" (O_o) ("Light" being... "light")
-"KB Security" = "Seguridad KB"
-"Mask the mask?" (What Phoenix says when he hears the name on TV) = "Mas de mas?" ("Mask" sounds like "mas" in Spanish, "mas" meaning "more". So "More of more", being "de" = "of", "from")
P.S: "Mask*DeMasque" doesn't change.

Names don't change when the game is localised to Spanish, only "Juan Corrida", which turns to "Juan Carrera" (maybe because "Corrida" may come from "Corrida de Toros", why means... "Corrida de Toros", where Spanish dudes with red capes persue bulls inside a stadium.
