How was that even possible!? Even knowing what to do, each game takes me much longer than that! Quite a feat!

I know, but my dad isn't human. The reason I didn't go to work in Houston is that I was afraid to work for him.

Well, it's not parental, but my older sister had a go on 1-1, as soon as she saw Cindy's dead bleeding body, she said "I don't think i wanna play this" -_0 lol

There's something to be said for being a Prosecutor for 33 years

Cross wise I meant the style and demeanor of Kristoph, with the the power and determination of Manfred.

Is it even possible to get through all the text in three hours with a fresh game, or did he do it on a completed one o.O

And given those two characters, I'd be scared of your father as well ;)

I did it on a used copy, playing it for the eleventh time, and it still took me a day and a half.

It was my completed copy of the first game. But he had never played it before.

Then again, his record is 3,156-17.

Sometimes I try to talk to my parents about it, but they just ignore me...:acro:

My sister on the other hand seemed to be somewhat interested.
Well, at first it was the usual "This looks dumb." and " Why is that guy wearing purple?" "Why did you buy a game where you play as a lawyer with funky eyebrows?"
I usually just ignore her and keep playing. Then, all of a sudden, she took it out of my hands and asked how to play. She did the same thing with Katamari Damacy.

She made it to the fourth case and gave up because of Manfred.
I think it was because of his demon voice. She denies it. In a way I was actually pretty proud.

My brother ended up losing the game when I let him borrow it. I did buy another copy and never let him play it.

I actually had a long discussion about the fourth case in the second game with my father (lawyer himself) over the phone.

He went on to talk about a couple well known lawyers he knew personally from the city who handled all the gangs and such. they were pretty rich, but one day one of them disappeared and was found dead.

He then talks about how he refuses to take on cases involving the government, because he's seen a pattern with some of the clients going up against them dying from brain tumors.

That in itself scared the crap out of me, haha..

I shown it to my mom once, who was slightly interested. It was during a blackout.

I remember I was alone at home, and I began to shout everything that Phoenix was exclaiming, only to have my dad come in hearing me shouting. He said "What are you doing?"

"Er....reading a book."

I hear people call themselves "fan-names" based upon their "series of choice". It's nothing new... some hardcore fans of the LoZ series call themselves "Hyrulian" for some reason... But I was reading peoples' introductions here, and a lot of them have the line "My friend/relative/co-worker/fellow student/teacher/boss etc... got me hooked onto PW..." .

You can't just get "hooked" onto Mario games, or LoZ games... but you can easily be hooked and taken in by the PW series without struggle! There's a reason why the AA series won "Best Bathroom Game" and why PW:AA got the "Gamespot E3 2005: Editors' Choice Winner" award.

^_^ My dad helped me convict Matt Engarde and save Maya! He told me to present the videotape to Shelly! And he also said that Matt filmed the murder to use it as blackmail!

And he told me to pick guilty both times. Cause we side with justice! :)

This is the best case I ever lost ^^

I got both my brothers into the game and my parents have shown occasional interest, but only when one of us gets really excited for the most part. My dad (a lawyer himself with hopes that at least one of his children might follow him) got excited when my youngest brother declared that he was interested in the law because of the game. He's twelve though so that idea was rather short lived. My brother still loves the game, but I think he wants to be a photographer this week. Who knows what next week holds? :edgy:

My mom didn't even care at first, but I let her have a try at 2-1.

Mom: ...My GOD that guy has an annoying voice.
Me: Payne? Yep.
Mom: ...I'll be glad to win this case and shut him up.
Me: ...Just remember to let me try you on case four next. Then you'll know why I was cussing at my DS.

My friends were all "Wtf" when I told them about it at first.

Friend 1: ...Lawyer game? Sounds dumb.
Friend 2: ...Is there even such thing as a lawyer game?
Me: ...I'll let you borrow PW 1 and you borrow PW 2. -Gives Friend 1 PW2 and Friend 2 PW1.-

A week later...

Friend 1: Engarde is freaking hot but I hate his guts.
Me: ...Little bastard. Why'd he hafta be so hot?
Friend 2: I wanna borrow the second one. First one's done.

Man, my mom really hates my guts now... She's told me and my sis to shut up at least 5 times now, and she's gotten so irritable it's crazy. I told her I would let her try it, but she just wants to burn the games. But I'm actually getting my language arts teacher's daughter (Or I hope to be; I have yet to recieve her email) into the idea. My teacher thinks her daughter (in college) will like it.

Parents... Well, on my mom side, I'll asked her on the phone(she lives 3 hours from where I live with my dad) if she would like to try it and she said she'll give it a shot next time we meet(case 1-1 of course) , the only problem residing in the fact that our native language is french, but she seems to be okay with english... I'll help her if there's any word she doesn't understand, since she love reading books, I thought that PW was pretty much a interactive book anyway, so should work, I really hope so(I can always import the french version if she would like it better)! And as for my dad... it would be a miracle if he was ever interested in a video game so I won't try, and he doesn't understand english pretty much. My sister lives in Europe so it's out of the question for now. I dunno if any in the house heard my Objections/Take That/Hold It but no one asked me so I think not. At least I got my fiancee hooked on it soon after I finished JFA(I even bought T&T for her), she's a Franzy fan since the first time she saw her, she's currently on case 3-3 1st trial. My friend isn't interested in it even though he finished case 1-1 in 20 min... Anyway, that's all.

I asked my mom if she wanted to try the first game and she said yes. She played the first case while I was sitting next to her and she was really good although there was something she didn't get. After she had played it, she said it was nice but haven't really asked me if she could play the other cases. Oh well, I guess some things don't change. :/
