It’s not like I would have my own body anymore, wherever that is...”

Evelyn sighed, shaking her head. "This is why I never understood people... Always fighting over something or another. So many bodies I've gotten in the past are because of such arguments... I see no point in such a thing if it only leads to more tragedy. Skylar, Marshall only wishes to believe Siri is still alive. I do not understand why you have to harshly reprimand him for trying to be optimistic." She chided rather seriously. "Besides, I see no point in getting upset over...what happened last trial. A lot of us were left rather confused at the events there. More importantly, we've been given a second chance! Rose and Althie are still with us, alive and well! For now, we shouldn't argue over this. We...well, we should be preparing for when Eve arrives."

She looked at Adam. "I believe he said that there isn't much time till she figures out how to get here? Then we should either avoid her capture when she avoids or capture her ourselves. Some sort of precautionary measure must be taken here, though. It would be more...productive than this."

The Ultimates were all gathered in an open space in the Winter Zone. Many of them looked worried, despite the fun they’d been having in the new location, and the worry quickly spread and amplified now that they were all together discussing it.

“It’s… been a while since we arrived here,” Honda said, throwing a nervous glance at Marshall. The Quarterback was wearing Vic’s headband and looked ready to take on the world.

“That android might be making her way here as we speak,” Evelyn added somberly.

“Maybe she’ll forgive Marshall?” Nana said hopefully. The others didn’t look convinced.

“Wait… what’s that noise?” Eli asked, looking around before finally turning his gaze upwards.

Clearer and clearer, louder and louder, everyone heard the sound of helicopter blades drawing close, and before long the air started stirring. What started as a spec in the sky became Eve leaning out of an unmanned helicopter with a loudspeaker in her hands, pointed at the group on the ground. “Heeeeey guys, what’s up?” she called out to them, not sounding quite as friendly as her words might imply. “Miss me?”

“Aw come on, that’s just asking for it!” Marshall laughed, though he was clearly sweating nervously now as he picked up a large rock. “‘Miss me’, really?” he said, before drawing back and then hurling the rock right at the helicopter’s rotors in a beautiful arc. Eve shrieked as it connected, shattering one of the blades and sending the helicopter into a downward spiral that ended with a spectacular, fiery explosion.

Unfortunately, Eve had jumped out and landed largely unscathed, glaring at Marshall.

“Marshall, you’ve been a very, very bad boy,” she said menacingly, walking closer. “And we all know what that means!” In a panic, Marshall ran at Eve and looked about to tackle her, but apparently even this theme park had been rigged up with the metal execution arms because one burst out of a nearby stand and grabbed him before he could reach. “I’ve prepared a very special punishment for the Ultimate Quarterback!”

“N-no, you can’t!” Althea cried. “He didn’t even kill anyone!”

“Hey, rules are rules,” Eve replied with a shrug. “Imagine the user mail we’d receive if I didn’t even stand by the basic rules of the game! It’d be a PR disaster, if... we had any PR. Or a place to receive mail. But I digress! Time to die, Marshall.”
