What program or programs do you all use to make vids? Do you go straight to the source and use Flash/Creative Suite, or do you make your animation with some other maker and then convert it? Any recommendations would be muchly appreciated!

I changed my mind when Windows Movie Maker started crashing randomly and sometimes stopped at 40% when converting to the video.
I have yet to find a program as simple and free as WMM. It wasn't a good or professional program, but for my needs it was perfect.
So this topic is kinda useful for me too.

... It does? I don't have Windows Movie Maker on my laptop, and I have Windows XP. Does it not include Windows XP? Or is it only PC's, and not laptops, perhaps?
