I don't think I was able to make a comment on the dA entry itself, so I'll say it here: I especially like how you did Internal Affairs. I love the concept, and there's just something about how it's drawn that's... mesmerizing. I can't stop looking at it. xD

With Ace Attorney Investigations on the way (and an original character contest coming up), I raked through my archives to see what I could dredge up on original characters.
First, we have Maeve Edgeworth
The circumstances of Maeve's creation and development are quite interesting: she is a pastiche of numerous concepts and elements taken from my experiences the past two years. For one, her green hair came from the Lif homunculus of Ragnarok Online; a friend and I roleplayed as Ema and Edgeworth, respectively, and Ema created a Lif then asked Edgeworth to name "their daughter." They named her Maeve, and soon after got married to have a "proper" family.
Yep, Maeve is my OC child of Edgeworth/Ema! But it didn't end there; when I got into Rock Band, I decided to make a drummer, and give her piercings, and turn the green hair into green highlights. Maeve became a right little angry punk, in contrast to her intellectual parents. I think the core of her personality is still much like theirs, however: playful, disregard for popular opinion, and introverted. It also goes without saying that her hairstyle is a combination of her parents'.
As if my OCs couldn't get any more outrageous, say hello to Sunny Nebels.
Long story short, Sunny gives Mia and Wakana a run for their money... Don't look at me like that.
Originally conceived by fellow forumgoer Trilroy to be the anonymous weathergirl—Turner Grey's nemesis—Sunny has since evolved into a character I can call my own. Trilroy's original concept sprite used April as a base... so her assets and low-cut top are not entirely my fault! It's agreed, however, that Sunny is impenetrably optimistic, excessively active, and eternally air-headed; she would not make a very good witness. She's a nice person, though, she really is.Here's a comparison of Sunny's earlier versions to her later designs. She's grown over the years...
And finally a relatively sane OC: forumgoer Urby's Judial Sanques
Judi is actually a long-standing character herself: I remembered her first appearances as a sort of third wheel in Urby's numerous Franziska/Adrian doodles back in 2007 when everyone on CR loved that pairing; but this sprightly silver-haired self-insert would not truly capture my attention until well after my friendship with Urby had gestated. Now that I am considering using Judi in a creative work, I have been getting together with her creator and another artist to try drafting out more detailed designs and outfits.
Some harmless flirting between Jake and Judial - this really is based on events that took place. In a roleplay. So yeah.

Oh- that contest T.T I'm not bothering with it. I can't handle a contest for OC design where my votes are lowered cause of my art style. I seriously couldn't handle the amount of people saying I'd score better if I was doing a Hotel Dusk OC. Seriously. If it's an OC contest, you should be voting on the OC, not the pic. I'm not even allowed to enter Zeth again so there's no point. If I can't rate with him then my other OCs are FAR too Noir for this website >.>

Granted, part of the contest criteria is that the character has to seem like they'll fit in with the existing franchise, so there's some difficulty there when it comes to people's imaginations. I admit it's a little unfair in that respect, but if you get noticed your work can be appreciated on its own merits.
You know, I still have Trilroy's original sprite of Sunny... here we go!

If you're thinking "WTF IS THIS CONTRADICTIONS?", it's just a sort of crossover with the infamous anime/manga series Eiken, notable for its outrageous character designs and unique narrative focus. If you're already a fan of that series, from left to right you might recognize that I based the poses off Kirika Misono, Chiharu Shinonome, and Komoe Harumachi from the anime opening sequence. (NSFW?)

Okay, okay, here, you can have something I drew.
What if Klavier... was a SUPERHEROINE? Yes, you read that right. This is part of the old, ongoing Super Makoto project—since 2007, in fact—and I've recently been working to gather up the team to start producing more artwork and finalizing the designs of the many protagonists. Klavier's superpower is turning into a woman, apparently.
