Okay so for a convention that I'm going to, I'm doing a skit with some of my friends and I'm cosplaying von Karma. What I need to figure out most is a wig. I don't really know where to get one that will look like his hair or that I can style to his hair style. I don't even know what to use to style a wig in the first place or if it will turn out decent. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks ^^

Well, you'll want a wig without a part since you're just slicking it back anyways. As for where to get one, I can't say. I quickly checked Cosworx and everything had a part in the hair. You may still be able to work with a parted wig though. You can style it with the fabled Aquanet hairspray suggested in the hair thread - be sure to pin the hair down and then you can spray like hell. :D

More powerful than any other hair spray...
More legendary than the Master Sword and the Twilight Bracelet combined...
It's AQUANET!!

I am surprised that someone is going to dress up as Mr. von Karma as opposed to Ms. Von Karma, but nobody ever does it, so kudos! I wish you luck! Now, may i ask which convention you plan to start with for this costume?

I used "Perfect" and gel'd it...alot. http://www.cosworx.com/product.php?prod ... t=0&page=1

It would of looked better if I didn't try to put my entire Manfred cosplay together in less than 5 hours though. @_@

But it's the right length and has a partial slick back.

I got the pure white... and used metallic silver sharpies to get it the color that's in my icon.

You could take some gel (or a lot of gel) and slick back this wig: http://amphigory.com/wigs_elegance_bob.html
I think it would work with it's length and all, but I've never tried to slick back a wig before. :P

Edit; Oops! I don't think they have the color. If you want, you could buy a light colored one, and dye it. I've personally never dyed a wig...

I plan on going as Damon Gant to at least one day of each convention I go to. Also, doesn't Manfred have a mullet? You kinda got something else going on there...

I wouldn't call it a mullet. To me, he's just wearing his hair slicked back.
But yes, the wig you're wearing has a different hairstyle, not enough in the back and too much to the sides. It might have too much hair, too :p
