For me, it is COMPULSORY to stay single as at the moment because what concerns me now are my younger siblings.

It is not that I feel relationships are not important, it is just because I can't be selfish and put my needs above everything else. Besides, I feel relieved when people close to me reach their dreams/ambitions.

I might think about that special someone when I have the time though.

Thinking about porn all the time and maintaining your composure about it are two different things. Lord knows how much I've watched(100x more DURING relationships), but it's not like I would ask my partner if I could do things to her that I've seen in porn(if we did, we'd probably end up laughing).

I'm staying single for a couple reasons. One was that I was in an internet relationship (not the best way to go, but someone's there for you at least) and I wound up hurting the girl, and I realized that I'm just not ready to get into a relationship just yet. I was sick with myself, and I wanted to make sure I never repeated myself again. The other one is I've got more important things to worry about than being with someone. Work, my ambitions, and such. Oh, its lonely, it can be extremely rough to get through some days, I chose this and so I'll stick to it. So no girlfriend until I feel I can handle it so I don't hurt someone like that again.

To you people in high school: Don't give it too much thought is my advice. Most of the relationships I've seen only end up causing so much drama that you might wonder why you got yourself caught up in this in the first place. Then there are break-ups, and awkward moments of seeing the other person in the hallways, it can keep you up at night...only trouble, really.
Wait till your out of there. When most people get out of HS a switch turns on that makes them realize that the physical, while important, is not any more important than what's inside.

If you feel you must pursue a relationship, then go for it. Sometimes it works.

I know two friends that are currently in a relationship, they're really good at bunking college, smoking and doing practically nothing. I'm always get the news through my best friend about their arguments; breaking up and making up from time to time. They argue over small stuff like a phone charm and key-rings. That's been going on for about a year and a half.

I made a comparison... so came up with the hypothesis that long distance relationship is better than meeting the person almost everyday.

Long distance relationship is good for self-strengthening, builds patience and it also lessens dependency (for each others' physical presence); doesn't risk people the hurt of unnecessary jealousy.

Makes people wiser.

Just use the PM function, johnny.

Back to the topic, it really depends on an individual which one suits you best: stay'n solo OR get someone to be your partner.

Both modes have pros and cons. Nothing's perfect but yourselves if you strongly believe you are.

@Ken: I haven't see many arguments or insults in this thread other than the last couple of posts. The rest have been pretty constructive. Like the topic title says, we've been sharing our views. And your last sentence basically sums up what's been established in this thread so far.

My friend was talking about the guy she likes and it made me sick. I don't know how she can like the guy, their relationship is so full of drama and making each other cry over stupid things. And then "I get violent after I watch violent movies." .... You know, that actually should be a signal to NOT hang out with this guy, who knows what he could do after watching something like 300 O_o

Ugh I lost my bets friend over a guy like that. Hes the type who obviously has some serious 'compensation issues' he has to assert himself by yelling and threatening everyone. ( yes he makes people cry for entertainment)The sad thing is, everyone bought it " Uh oh Dans angry better give him what he wants or hell kick our asses! Hes so badass" No he wont, and no he isnt.
You know, I receive the same response with just a glare. That whole 'me man me smash' is only for those who have something to prove.

..I hope he gets cock cancer. Hell, the tumor would make it large enough to be visible with the naked eye.

God created humans to NOT bestow or pray for bad things to happen towards one another. Else, we'd NOT be existing on Earth. Humans are the saviour from devastation caused by beasts long before the existence of humans.

What am say'n ere is that you can always find better ways to face the probs that the person do towards people.

Hey, if you can come up with a valid argument on your own rather than having the bible do it for you Ill give you a shiny gold star.

I have dealt with it. I simply stopped talking to/seeing him altogether. Wishing bad things upon him is simply an after-thought.

He's talking about my banner.

And also, nothing wrong with being married. You just have to be prepared for it, which a lot of couples just aren't even after having like seven kids(..which is also partly the problem, heh). Obviously it takes enough love and commitment to get there, but it also takes money. You'd better have a job where you make 10x more money than you actually should, because it's all gonna go to the family from marriage onward.

I really hate the idea of marriage. My friends are always making fun of me saying I should marry my best friend ( cuz the insist he is more than my friend) but, no. I really cant stand the thought.
