I thought maybe he had photosensitive eyes, or that he was colour blind, but he'd still be able to see. I wonder if he just has poor vision :( Or maybe it's manga magic making the world turn for blind people ;)

Maybe it's because eyes are like a machine: they have different parts, and if one breaks, the whole thing's shot. The visor does something to help Godot's condition, but would do nothing to help Lamiroir's.
I mean, if an axle broke you wouldn't go replacing the wheel. You'd glue the axle back together. Godot's visor is like glue that way.
Wait... if Godot's visor is glue, how did it fly off in 3-5?

I think the question is more HOW it works. It's all funn saying it pours coffee, but I've looked at it and there's no way with modern technology it could be benificial. Plus he'd have to have some sort of vision for it to do something cause it can be knocked off. It's confusing T.T

I would asked you to remove them too if you were buying anything age restricted plus not seeing eyes scares people, they allow people to tell intent, mood, if they are looking at the cash register because they are going to steal etc.
Anyway, about Godot's visor. It is a huge HUD, giving him a bunch of information, images, analysis and youtube. A bit like the crazy guy in Serial Experiments Lain who uses a pair of goggle things to peep on people, surf 'The Wired' (Internet sort of thing) and such on the move.
I also like the idea of it being a peeping visor, looking at peoples underwear and recording things for play back later.

If the redness of his visor prevents him from seeing red, couldn't he just have a film to carry around of another color to put in front of his visor just to see red things?

See, I have this German lens in my glasses cause my eye sight is totally naff (To those in the know- my prescription in my best eye is around -10), but I get these special Nikon lenses that are super thinned. The perscription they'd be if they were cheep lenses would be thicker than a beer bottle bottom, but cause of these lenses, they're nearly half as thick. I reckon in 30 years time, they'll figure out how to make it even MORE lighter and more powerfull. They'd be expensive, but how much would you pay to have good vision?
I did this for my Casino outfit concept
I reckon his visor holds the correct prescription for him, but in glasses, he can't quite make it, so he uses contacts also.
