And in German, Klavier means Piano. Quite literally. Spelled the same and everything. Same in scandinavia. For some reason, the english language doesn't have "Klavier", or any form thereof. "Piano", I think, was more of a brand mark of those large pianos with a top that is capable of being opened like a lid. Normal 'Pianos' are here simply called 'Klaviers' (spelled diffrently in Danish, but it's extremely accurate) when they arn't called 'keyboards' (which basicly are a syncronym of synthesisers, if you get what I'm saying).
Just explaining that fact, considering that Croik was a little confused on that point.

To be honest...and maybe I'll be the only one who thinks so, I would have preferred something along the lines of "Echo Gavin" for Kyouya. Dolphin jokes aside, it fits the meaning of his Japanese name and would make sense in English. It sounds like a silly rockstar name. And it makes a lot more sense than "LOL PIANO."
Then he wouldn't start with a K like his brother, but that's hardly a key feature of them...
Oh well. Still getting used to Klavier.

I've finally gotten used to Trucy. My initial reaction was "TRUCY? WHAT THE BLEEDING- (long-winded rant)", but now it kind of fits her. I prefer minuki, but I'm getting used to Trucy.
I've always liked the name Apollo Justice. I'll still use "Odeko-kun", though, just because it's fun to say "Odeko-kun".
Klavier...maybe it's the "v", or the "er", but it seems too...rough for him. It just doesn't roll off the tongue quite like Kyouya.
How do you pronounce Kyouya? I want to say it correctly. What would the pronunciation be in dictionary symbols?

Tsk, it's like they're being unfair to the gamers. For me, the game translated into various languages is alright... but names.... that's like they favoured a particular nation for the privileges of getting the game as original as it can be!

Why should they? I mean, those are all puns in Japanese - they make no sense in English at all. They're actually keeping very close to the Japanese - only... translated. Naruto is not about text or puns. Phoenix Wright is.

But, as TaT came out they knew that they couldn't change Victor Kudo's nationality as there would be an uproar and it would be too hard to change his whole manner of dress, heritage and personality. But they changed his name because the names have symbolic meanings in this series, and people who aren't from Japan wouldn't get them.
