Miles Edgeworth. Ending half of 1-3 and all of 1-4. That is all.
Dahlia Hawthorne. Towards the end, I guess I felt really sorry for her.
Alita Tiala. Towards the end of 4-2, she got cool all of a sudden.

Manfred von Karma. At first, I thought he was HILARIOUS. Then he just got really creepy.
Kristoph Gavin. Initial thoughts: "Hey, this guy's kinda cool." Final thoughts: "Man, I hope this guy dies."

Daryan Crescend. Honestly. This guy had some nerve. SOME NERVE. OH. MY. GOD.
Spark Brushel. He was amusing for a short while. A very short while.

Kristoph Gavin, at the first case I sort of like him, though by the fourth case I basically hated him. Then I realised what well written character he is. 
Adrian Andrews, she was a bit snoby at first, but then you see what happened to her. 
Miles Edgeworth, at first I hated him, then after 1-4. You know.
At first I hated her. But towards the end of 3-5 I started feeling sorry for her.Like----->Hate
Hate his attitude. Probably going to be a killer in GS5.Love To Hate
He forged evidence TWICE to convict TWICE.
She gets on my nerves. A LOT.

I don't remember why I started hating him, but I stopped recently after obsessing over AAI and remembering he was the first character I ever liked. I'm nowhere NEAR as big as a fan as the people in The Edgey fan base (lol hi), but yeah.

- Edgeworth. I was led on to believe he was a jerk. And I did in fact believe he was a real jerk indeed. Until the end of case 3 and all of case 4, I guess.
- Manfred. Oh yeah. First time I heard him object I swear I jumped a couple of inches up. Him being a magnificent bastard didn't help, either. But as I replayed his case again, I started to respect him. Then I saw a video of him singing "Du Hast". And now I think he's AWESOME.
- Ema. My first thought was, "Oh great. A Maya clone". Then she turned into hyper science girl, and I started to like her. As for her appearance in AJ... Well, I still like her character despite the PMS.
- Godot. The badassery got to me. Hehe.
Like - Dislike:
- Klavier. OK at first, then the fake German and overall attitude started to get to me.
- Iris. I liked her character before GS3 was translated into English cuz I didn't know what her personality was... Then T&T came and I was put off by the "sweet sweet" display she was giving.
- Morgan. At first, I was intrigued by her "mysterious old lady" aura. Then she did that whole "my preeeeecciiiooouss" thing and I knew she couldn't be decent.

I liked him at first, but it wasn't until my second playthrough that I realised that he's a total tool. The 'rockstar' thing gets a bit old, and there's not much that makes him a unique character. Ema's right, he is a glimmerous fop.

'Cause I thought he was going to be some Phoenix clone, and it would be just lame (of course, I thought the game was about Polly trying to "save" Feenie, just like Feenie "saving" Edgey in the first game.) Then, while playing the game I realised that he had a distinct personality, and now I think he's the CUTEST thing in the whole Ace Attorney universe.3-3 and 1-5:

Since AJ was my first game, when I played as Nick, he looked like a total idiot. The sprites looked so badly done and all his animations looked so... creepy. I was too used to AJ sprites and Apollo.
But, after playing the PW games, I started to like him more and more.

Hated him at first, then he kinda got interesting.
Seemed too stuck-up at first, then after I found more of his backstory I liked him.
He was a detective on the prosecution's side, and he wouldn't let me examine the first crime scene! Later I began to like his personality. Didn't think Phoenix would get a replacement as cool as him, but I found myself to be wrong.Like to Hate:

Moe and pretty much all 2-3 characters. Except Acro, who I liked from the beginning.

Hobo-Nick. I was angry about what they had done to him when I first saw him, but I grew to like his personality. Still, it would have been better if it was a new character.
Angel Starr, of course. Her testimony was hard and she was annoying, but after the second investigation she got real nice.
Ini/Mimi Miney. She was annoying at first but I felt really bad for her then.
Franziska von Karma. I was like "Ugh, do I have to put up with her for a whole game?" at first, but she grew on me.
Like to hate:
Brushel. I thought he was cool at first, but he's just a bit too quirky for my tastes.
Lamiroir. I liked her character, but you had to cross-examine her like 8 times.

Larry Butz - he was great in AA1, but his character was completely different in AA3. He went from being Phoenix's "best friend" to someone who didn't talk to PW for 2 years and then pretended not to know him. WTF? Anyways, the second Larry was annoying, but I'm inclined to pretend the real Larry was abducted and replaced with a fake robot who had a different personality.
Dislike -> like (or at least ok with)
Angel Starr and Jake Marshall. Their schticks (lunch, Texas) were so annoying at first that I couldn't put up with them. But once their characters were fleshed out a little more past the one-note jokes, they were much more bearable.

Apollo. Before I played AJ, I dreaded the idea of completely switching casts. When I played it, I grew a soft spot for the 'lil shorty. XD
Kristoph. Like Matt, he just grew on me.

Pearl. I thought she was sort of cute at first, then then all the slapping and then OMG PHOENIXAMAYA OTP stuff turned me off to her. (It's not that I dislike Phoenix/Maya shippers, but YER SPESHUL SUM1 got really annoying after a while.)
Iris. She seemed interesting at first, but now I just plain hate her. The sweet and innocent personality annoys the crap out of me, and she's just a flat character in general, other than the fact she's Dahlia's twin sister.
Klavier. At first I was all OMGLOVE to him, but now, looking back, he isn't as developed or interesting as the other prosecutors. The fake German also gets on my nerves.
Older Ema. She was amusing at first, but now, ugh. I liked young Ema better.
