I'm in the Sand Realm right now.

Staven (Byrne outside Europe) is easily the series' best character. :3

I thought Byrne's manly grunting was hilarious.

The Sand realm is my least favorite...

The Sand Realm is annoying with Skeldritch who happens to be my least favourite boss at the moment. I hate the Tower of Spirits- Final visit though as it takes forever to complete and the next part isn't worth it at all...

*sigh* Why can't Nintendo make a good Zelda game like OoT. I know I keep commenting on it but we haven't had a good plot, long story and game that was challenging and some decent Floor and Wall Masters...

Skeldritch was the only boss where I died more than once.

Unfortuneately, video games will never become good like that ever again. Not as long as the ratio of casual to hardcore gamers is as high as it is today.

OoT isn't that good in my opinion. MM, TWW, FSA and TP were all made after OoT, and I liked them much better.

I think this is my favourite handheld Zelda game.

This game and Phantom Hourglass were the only Zelda games I've ever played. =P

So it's obvious I prefer Spirit Tracks.

I liked OoT because it spawned a sequel that itself got 100% for a score (Oot got 99%), plus as I said, it had a decent plot and characters.

This is your favourite? I happen to prefer the classic Oracle of Ages only because it was a game that made me scream for a year as I couldn't beat a temple and none of my friends had it, so I gave up on it only to discover the answer when we got the Internet. I soon finished the game and it was great :D.

Remember I've only played this and Phantom Hourglass.

But even if I played other zelda games, Spirit Tracks would still be my favorite or at least very close.

I mean, come on! It's got trains!

Excuse me, but... are we talking about the same series here? The plots in Zelda games have always been generic. The stoyline in OoT is about as good as in all the other games.

Yes we are. I'll expand on what I mean. In OoT, it spawned a plot that has lead to the Great Timeline Theory which has confused fans until that awesome guy on Youtube did that video which Nintendo replied with an unfortunate response. Plus, OoT's plot was the only one that was interesting, long and in the end, it was very challenging, especially playing that bonus edition disc MasterQuest.

I think I might be a bit biased as OoT will remain my favourite game because it was the first game I ever finished...

Well, I suppose you're right about that. I like the characters in the newer games though... They are much more well-developed. Like Midna, Zant, Ganondorf (in TWW), Linebeck and Byrne/Staven.

I'm at the last Tower of Spirits phase now. I'm too tired to finish it right now though.

Also, I came up with a pretty good idea.

Since TWW, PH and ST officially (it's one of the very few things we know about the series' continuity) takes place in a different continuity from the "other" games like TP, ALttp and MM... Wouldn't it be cool if the MM/TP/ALttp continuity had Hyrule rely on magic and such while the TWW/PH/ST one relied more on technology?

TP games relying on magic while Spirit Tracks saga advancing in technology? I can see that happening. There was a pretty bad joke about Spirit Tracks when it was first announced with a trailer, showing the whip and train. This was it.

"Zelda Spirit Tracks? Now we have trains and Indiana Jones. What's next? Zelda Top Gun?"

For all of those who didn't understand, the awful joke was saying the next game would have airplanes and fighter jets.

Well if they do a Zelda game in space then Zelda will probably still sell really well. It didn't turn into Renegade so that's good news. :godot:

Zelda in space? ... No thank you.

Anyway, now that I've finished the game, here are some things that I'd like to see in the sequel:

Spoiler: Huge spoilers
- New Hyrule's technology advancing. Maybe something steampunk-ish?
- Byrne, reincarnated.
- A new, recurring villain. The "other" timeline has Ganondorf and Vaati and some others, I think we need one or more for this one too. Malladus was killed in the end, and that's why we need a new one.

Also, the final battle was kinda... freaky.

Got this for Christmas. Awesome.

I find it interesting how they seem to have taken everything I hated about Phantom Hourglass, and made it right.

Also, I quite like the fact that Zelda has some personality this time, even if the personality is COMPLETELY unfitting.

I'm at the Goron... Fire Temple... Place.

Gaah! I hate those stupid rabbits. Not only are they hard to catch but the rabbit guy himself looks incredibly odd...

Also, I too have been replaying this game. I keep re-doing the final battle because...

Spoiler:
It's got awesome music!

Also, did anyone have this problem when they got to the Dark Realm?

Spoiler:
I eliminated those two pesky armoured trains at the top right corner then the last train started to go through warp portals! I just barely got in time to a tears of light token thingy.

I'm not a big fan of playing the Spirit Flute right now. I'm heading to the Forest Temple soon, so when do I get a cannon for my train? I just don't feel comfortable with the whistle being my only tool... I was almost killed on the way to Whittleton.

Have you been to Hyrule castle and you are currently delivering that swords guy back to Aboda Village? Make sure you visit him in the infirmary first though...

I don't think I'm anywhere near that. I could really use that strategy guide Yaragorm has. I have the stategy guide for Phantom Hourglass, and I'd get the strategy guide for this one (they're so useful) but I have to buy a new DS.

I posted this earlier on. It's actually quite comprehensive, so check it out! You have to buy a new DS? Why? I'm guessing it's been one week since the warranty has been voided and it won't work (*it happened to me*).

Finally, I managed to catch every rabbit and collect every stamp. I have to say, it was actually quite worth all the hassle.

I still need three heart containers, and I plan to aim for the Golden Train set.

The whirlwind can even blow Phantom Zelda away for a short distance.

I've almost got the whole Golden Train set, I just need two palace dishes and two mystic jades.
