Nope.

"Same" as in the meaning of the word. Almost like a synonym.

He was an Astronaut/someone working in a heavily radioactive area.

Oh, and sorry for the double post, but here's a riddle, though I'm so forgetful that I'm not sure if I, or anyone else for that matter, have posted this before.

A man without eyes saw plums on a tree. He did not take plums or leave plums. How can this be?

Here's some riddles:
1)In a living room there are 10 lit candles. You left the window open and two go out due to the wind. You close the window and leave. When you come back, you notice that one more had gone out.
How many candles do you have left?

2)A man is going to the forest. He knows that when he arrives, he'll die, but he can't stop whatsoever. What is happening?

3)There's only one thing that can stink without it being there, and everybody knows that what stinks is that thing. What is it?

You have two, because the 8 that didn't go out would have burnt down to nothingness, while the two that were still lit are still whole (well, sorta)

3 actually, because you can only notice that one had gone out if its whole.

Here's the riddle.
Two ducks were flying in opposite directions - to the north and to the west. How much weight has kilo of candies if spades are diamonds?

And another one
Three turtles were walking in a row. The first one says: "There's noone in front of me", the second says: "There's noone behind me", the third one says: "I like swimming"
Point out a "contradiction" and tell why it has occured.

1) One kilogram

2) There's no contradiction. The first one was at the front and the second one was at the back. The Gant turtle was in the middle.

Spoiler:
There would be a contradiction if they were walking in a vertical row, because the third turtle would be behind the second one. However, they are NOT walking vertical, but horizontal, meaning there would be no one in front of the first one, no one behind the second one, and the fact that the third one likes swimming is irrelevant unless he is, in fact, swimming.

You totally stole that from Professor Layton.

Now then, settle down children. Uncle Justis just got a new Bathroom Reader for Christmas, and with a Bathroom Reader, there's two things you can expect: Toilets being mentioned at least 10 times and riddles. Here's a few that I like:

1) Think of a dangerous five-letter reptile. Remove the letter "o" and rearrange the remaining letters to form a four-letter crustacean that's not nearly as dangerous.
(This one's easy, got it on my first try.)

2) One of these animals foes not begin with something that the other three do. What?
Pigeon
Donkey
Beetle
Bullfrog

3) What nine-letter word can be made by unscrambling these letters?
A C C E H I M N S

4) In what well-known word do these six consecutive consonants appear?
tchphr
(This one's easy too)

5) What's special about the word "swims"?

6) Name the only number that, when spelled out, has the same number of letters as its value.
(This one's a freebie)

I actually meant that they were walking in a vertical row.

Spoiler: Answer
The second turtle is lying

Here's another one (and not from Layton)
"You are in a room A, and you have three switches. In room B there are 3 table lamps. You have to find out which switch belongs to which lamp, but you can only go into room B once. How would you do it?"

Go into B first thing, come out and leave the door wide open so you can see the lights. Turn on each switch individually, and look through the door, without actually going into the room, to see which light is which. Problem solved.

I never said the rooms were together. The idea is that you can only see what's inside if you actually step inside the room. Although your way of thinking is not wrong, it's just not the answer.

OH I GET IT NOW.

Turn 2 on, leave them on for a while. Then turn 1 off. Go into room B. The lit up bulb is the one you didn't switch off. Feel the other two. The warm one is the one you switched on then off, the cold one is the switch you never touched.
