However, Scent is right. I suffered a break in while I was out, losing a majority of the files for the game. I have dropped back to 10%, and in order to catch up, I'm putting together the program team.

Apologies to everyone who is waiting for this. I guess I'm unlucky in this area. Anyways, I bought a new laptop so I'm heading right back to work.

^^ laptops are cheap nowadays, thankfully.

Hopefully the wrong-doers will get their piece of justice soon enough.

I'm willing to help port this to LuAA, as our agreement was from before.

That's very appreciated, B12Core. Perhaps I can send cases to you as they are finished, maybe to release the full game along with the port as well.

Thanks again!

Mask de Masque came to mind when you said that. :yuusaku:

So, I don't know how to code (but willing to!), have a photobucket account, I'll go on court-records everyday from now on and after school and weekends I mostly waste my time on the computer.

Maybe you should divide the programming team Paper into two- the advanced and the beginners. As I have quite a bit of PWlib experience and know how to program, I could do a lot of the heavy work while the beginners look at the easy stuff. Also, if not many sign up, I don't mind doing more work as every bit I do, I get more PWlib knowledge which is obviously really helpful. Just PM me when you are ready to assign tasks.

Good plan, Ptapcc. I'll do so right now.

@Bass_Ultra: Dang, you've got the skills of Apollo, Edgey and Phoenix, all in one :O Anyways, if you get a obtain a basic amount of PWLib coding knowledge, then I'd be happy to have you on the program team. Perhaps try reading PWLib in a Nutshell, or downloading someone else's demo game script as a reference.

Thanks.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of laptop, man. I hope those who took it, get put on trial themselves and jailed for years!

Anyway, I'm currently getting to grips with PWlib to code my game, so I may be to help with the beginner things. :edgy:

Also, if you'd like me to make a mini-demo on Ace Attorney Online (like Prologue and Courtroom Prelude) I'd be happy to do that. :godot:

Haha, how could I shoot you for offering to help?

Thanks for the nice words, but many of my friends have experienced something similar in this crazy town. Anyways, we were planning on moving to a smaller town inside BC, Canada, so my guess is there'll be less crime there.

Annnnnnyways, back on topic.

I'd be happy to put you under the basic PWLib section of the team, however, the AAO port, if there will be one, should be done after the PWLib one is done.

Thanks for everything!

I'd like to apply for the team. I have plenty of free time right now and that should continue for quite a while. I can let you know plenty of time in advance if the situation changes. I haven't actually done much PWLib programming, but I've gone through PWLib in a Nutshell (and understood it) and have also done plenty of regular programming. I'm sure I can get used to it.
Don't have a photo account, but obviously I can register for one later. Which would you prefer?

Wow, that's certainly excellent. I don't mind either, but since so far the team mostly uses Imageshack, sign up for that if you have the choice. If you understood PWLib in a Nutshell and have a good knowledge of normal programming, you're already better than me when I started coding this game:)

How about I add you to the advanced team, and if it's too difficult, I can always change it?

Thanks very much for signing up!

Well, Paper, I could help you with various PWLib coding, if you need anyone else. I am quite experienced with AHLSL, so I wouldn't have a problem.

But more specifically, contact me whenever you need to insert characters into the game. I'll gladly code the file for PWLib compatibility.

Schedule: I'll be absolutely available most of the day until early February. Then, until early March, I'll be available, but not as much. And from March onwards, I'll be available only on the afternoon (school -__-).

If I'm on my computer and I have Internet access, I'll most certainly be online here.

And I have a Photobucket account, but can create an Imageshack account if needed.

Wow, thank you for offering, DeMatador! I am very aware of your PWLib knowledge, and would love to have you on the advanced team. It's okay to be busy at times, I'm a very busy person as well. And, if you already have a Photobucket account, please don't bother making an Imageshack one as well, I don't mind uploading to both.

Thanks again!

- A very flexible schedule: being able to put in decent amounts of time per week.
Oh God, I have nothing to do EVER, except for school. So I'm definitely in for free time.
- Good knowledge of PWLib: I'd like to offer to teach the coding process, but as ROTP has been delayed too much already, I need people who already know how to code properly.
Yes, I have been an animator for pwlib and code some too. I also made a quick fix of the gavel in pwlib, which you can probably find if you search it.
- Frequent visits to CR. Information of the scripting will be sent out by PM on CR, so it is necessary that you check your inbox often.
On court-records everytime i'm on the computer, which is often.
- An ImageShack or PhotoBucket account. Transferring of necessary photos will be easier through these sites.
I have an Imageshack account under my username, no photobucket though

That's good to hear. I'll have to remake my written script, since that was lost too:( However, I remember it word for word, luckily. Once the team is full, I'll start sending out requests:D

You know, I was first planning on waiting a little longer to see if any other people would join up, but hell, we've already got multiple talented people here anyways! I do have a youth group leader's retreat I must go to for the weekend, but I will be back Sunday afternoon. I may need about 2-3 days maximum after that to rewrite the story/effects on a document so I can hand them out. Apologies, but I did have one, but that was lost too...

Let's say, next Friday at the latest, be if you are having to clear up your palette to start, I'm perfectly okay with any other important things you may have to attend to. Just drop me a message, and it'll be okay;D

Looking forward to working with you all as well, and thanks again for helping. Seriously, it's a huge relief after losing all those files...

You know, you're completely right. Many of my teachers say the same thing, but I never really seemed to want to write, especially since I'm left-handed and all the ink/lead gets on my hand >_>

Anyways, I already have a majority of the graphics done, but I'd still love to see what your friends can draw, please send me the link if possible.

I have not watched Case Closed before, and my avatar is from K-On! A Japanese anime show.

Dang, that's good. Artists of any kind always amaze me, since one of my talents does not include art. Unfortunately, like I said, I do have a majority of the graphics, and I also need sprites for my game:D

But still, dang. Let your friend know that he's a fine artist. And your other friend is a fine writer, as well. This area I know a lot about, since I write daily in a blog, as mentioned in my signature.

Anyways, thanks for the support!

I agree but I don't write down everything. If I have to type, I save back-up's on my external HDD and USB's.

Apparently less than 10% of the world is left-handed, but I know so many people who are left-handed.

Argh it's still so annoying when writing essays and tests. Anyways, I agree that using back-ups is a good alternative. I can type about 5 times as fast as I can write, too.
