Just about anything else I'm "yay" about (and the crack things like, I dunno, Grossberg/Viola/Payne don't bother me at all because they're obviously crack in most cases, and if not, there are so few of them that it's no concern) or "I don't see it, but good for you-- enjoy" about, but Iris/Phoenix? Yeah, not a fan. (That doesn't mean that I'm attacking anyone who likes it, btw.)
If there was a whole slew of Kristoph/Vera, I'd probably have more of an opinion on it and it would be pretty similar, too.

I don't like Phoenix/Maya. Sorry, I know it's really popular, and I don't mind that people ship it, but I personally don't think it's plausible. It's like if Redd White had himself TALKED TO PHOENIX with DEATH THREATS about how he was planning to murder Mia, and instead of going to police or something Phoenix agreed to COOPERATE and be willing accomplice to White's plot. He then agreed that White could still murder Mia if Phoenix didn't accomplish x condition, and Phoenix knew full well he still hadn't accomplished x condition, after 8 MONTHS, which is plenty of time. White then just didn't tell him he'd carry out his murder plot on THAT PARTICULAR DAY. But it was pretty obvious White would get fed up because after 8 months, Phoenix STILL hadn't achieved his agreed 'saving Mia' condition. And Phoenix was too dumb or lazy to try something else even though his initial tactic clearly was NOT WORKING. Like, you know, warn Mia, or anonymously tip off police, or something. If Phoenix had really been the exact parallel to Iris, Godot would have a right to hate him

How iris felt about wright before she began dating him wasn't of any concern,saying that back when she said(if she did) that if she fails then dahlia may kill wright,back then she didn't have feelings for wright yet.
however,after she dated wright numerous times,she began to love him.
as for her knowing that dahlia will eventually kill wright,you see,dahlia always consults iris whenever she is planning to do a crime,iris thought that dahlia would tell her before attempting to kill wright.
so you see,iris might have known that dahlia eventually wanted wright dead if iris failed,but what she didn't know was that dahlia wouldn't consult her before hand,it didn't occur to iris that dahlia wouldn't tell her,afterall, iris said something like this(not exact quote)
she hadn't consulted me about it(the murder) beforehand,it was the first timeso you see,what iris was expecting wasn't imidiate murder,but dahlia telling her about her plans of killing wrigh before hand in which iris would stop dahlia,iris had planned to stop dahlia the moment dahlia told her she would kill wright,however,she hadn't planned of how to stop dahlia if dahlia didn't tell her becouse that possibilaty didn't occur to her due to the fact that it never hapened before,as shown in iris's quote above.

There are some people who totally get sick at a pairing just because is yuri, and they won't like to talk about it. When I say "yuri" people say "OMG that's so pervert!" "OH you like hentai omg" Yeah some people relate yuri directly with hentai.
Sometimes you can't talk to someone just because it's related to a yuri pairing.

Bloody hell, I agree. I am really open-minded when it comes to same sex pairings, and I understand it when people don't like it, or it's not their thing. But that doesn't mean you should act ignorant about it, either. =/ I think that love, relationships, whatever, should not be judged or looked down upon because of something meaningless like one's gender.
Anyway, a pairing I really dislike is Edgeworth x Franziska... most people really like this and I may be a bit biased because I really don't like her character, but... It's just not right to me, lol. Kudos to those that draw the fanart, I can't ignore talent when it is present. xD Yeah though... incesty... not into that.
